Millies Cookie's Nottingham Victoria Centre — Local services in Nottingham

I have been Millie's cookie countless/endless times throughout my life and I understand the day I went was the day before Mother’s Day and Eid Mubarak so the store was very busy. However when you pay for a service, you expect despite the store being busy for the workers to atleast try to make the customers satisfied. The lady who was personalising the cookies appeared extremely under pressure which was observed by her pressured speech, facial expressions and the lack of care when handling the cookies and writing on them. She was not taking any care nor time to do peoples personalised messages neatly. I did not have time to complain about my cookie as I needed to be somewhere within the next 45 minutes but my cookie was clearly rushed. I have never brought a cookie which looked so messy and the icing look so uneven. The edges was messy and you can clearly see the lady was rushing and putting no effort into ensuring it was neat and presentable and the writing ‘Eid Mubarak’ was not even in the centre so it just looked out of place and again, messy. I was not happy with my service this time round and its such a shame because its the first time Millies cookie has let me down after all these years. My friend has attended the store today and has told me the store is not busy, yet shes received the same service from the same lady who did my cookie Saturday. This has made me wonder if this is what Millies cookie will be like on my future visits. Maybe you need a bigger store so you can allow more workers so the workers can give there all, care and effort into the personalised cookies again - if it is to do with the store lacking staff, space and struggling under pressure. I used to rate this 5 star. It USED to be the best iced cookie in the world. But now millies has got tight, and rationed the icing they put on their iced cookie slices. The covering was SO sparce, it was barely worth it. I asked staff for more icing, and was willing to pay extra to have the cookies with the amount of icing I liked, but staff were 'not allowed', and said icing was measured!! And they were quite unhelpful and unfriendly. Note that although you get less icing than before, the price has not got less! Complete rip off as they are not cheap. It was not anywhere near sweet enough for my liking, and I ended up throwing my boring, icingless cookie away. Put MORE icing on them!!! Or let people have the option to pay for extra toppings!
