They were pleasant and helpful when I called to check availability. Sadly, it wasn't so cool when I got there. The product I wanted had two sale price signs directly in front of the display boxes. Seems like a good deal. I thought, I'll get 2. However, when I went to purchase, I was told the price is higher and then told the sale price was for an older version of the product. When I asked about availability of the older version, I was told that product is not available. Feels like the old bait and switch routine. When I politely suggest that they shouldn't have signs indicating the price is $204.99 in front of product they charge $224.99. He disagreed and said the sign has a different number on it. It probably did. The product number was too small to read easily. Meanwhile other staff who were just standing around mocked me for saying something about it. Read moreI went in to drop off a prepaid Amazon package. I went to the shipping counter where I ALWAYS go. The girl behind the counter had one customer she was helping. A manager was standing there just watching her work. She asked me if I had a labeled Amazon return. I said, yes. She told me to go over to the regular checkout and they would do it there. I went over and waited in line at the checkout, (which had several people in it and only one cashier, while another manager and cashier stood five feet a way chit chatting), when I got up there the cashier said, you have to take that to the shipping counter. I told her the manager sent me over to the checkout and she told me she couldn't do it from there. So I had to go back over to the shipping counter and get back in that line. The manager was just standing there watching. I made it clear that I was unhappy that and she finally came over to scan my package. I didn't wait for a receipt, I'll probably regret that. Copy center service is also terrible. customer service clerks are not helpful and just want to sell you extra services. all my colleagues have boycotted Staples in Aberdeen due to the poor service.
