Read whole review it does get good this place has come along way...I'm gonna give this goodwill 3.5 stars would be 5 if they had more than one checker all the time and if merchandise wasn't so packed tight on racks to make it difficult for the disabled and elderly customers It helps me not spend as much and causes piles on the floor everywhere(if I were still in a wheelchair the aisles r not wide enough and accessable ). I haven't been in my local goodwill for years because before it was dirty, unorganized, short staffed , unwelcoming overwhelming , hoarded, overpriced , did I say dirty , signs not clear or well marked etc etc....UPDATE NOW VS. THE. orange tag means it's 1.49 everything store WIDE and there is an orange tag sell everyday. I was blown away recently going in there it is completley different than it use to be ...CLEAN , RESPECTFUL AND HELPFUL STAFF...GOOD SECURITY, WELCOMING, CLEARLY MARKED ADVERTISEMENT,THE BEST PART ARE THE PRICES...THEY ARE AMAZING...COLOR TAG SALES EACH DAY 50% OFF ALONG WITH THE EVERYDAY ORANGE TAG CHANGING ROOM Accessible BUT NO PUBLIC RESTROOM ...(it's a shame and so inconvenient for anyone else besides dirty drug users"not all just the dirty ones".that ruined that privilege everywhere a long time ago) I'm happy I can go to Goodwill here instead of driving to Olympia now. Thanks for...
Read moreWent by Goodwill to make a donation today only to be really disrespected by their workers no one else around I'm just dropping off one bag and I've done it this way many times before well the The wannabe person in charge told me I had to drive around the whole parking lot and turn my car around I literally told him I'm only dropping off one bag I've never had an issue like this before and he just starts yelling at me telling me that I'm not the one in charge yada yada yada well long story short I just left I did not give them my donation nor will I ever be donating nor buying anything at the store again and this brings me to my next point these people seem to forget that we are the ones that keep them in business with our patronage and our donations if they want to treat people like garbage yell at them and say other things which I'm not going to repeat on here then they will no longer get my business and I'm pretty certain anybody else's if they keep up with their attitudes definitely would not recommend shopping at Goodwill in between their attitudes and the fact that they're overpriced for stuff that half the time doesn't work or is super outdated I would rather just give my donations to a charitable organization such as a church or a local clothing bank where at least I know it's going to people that will...
Read moreToday I went to the goodwill to return some items that didn't fit, and in line infront of me was this sweet elderly woman. As she was getting her items scanned she was sorting some things through her cart, I think because she was unsure if she could afford it or not, she was already visibly under stress from it and the cashier made it all the worse, he started being very vile toward her. Yelled at her, trying to embarrass her about setting a few items off to the side, he slammed his hands on the counter, followed by throwing her items down on the counter very aggressively and berated her the entire interaction. She wasn't rude or disrespectful at all to him I remember her saying something along the lines of "I didn't mean to make your day harder, I just was trying to make it easier for you so you don't have to ring up so many things just to take them off if I can't afford them." To add insult to injury another employee, a woman came over to antagonize and verbally gang up on this poor woman. It was so disgusting to see the employees treat her like that when she did nothing to provoke them, especially since she was very sweet and respectful throughout the ordeal. I hope whoever that sweet lady is doing okay and knows she's not at fault at all for their disgusting...
