There was a power outage today. It was not a problem I understand things happen. However when me and my friend had begun walking up to the doors people were walking out. There was a young man outside smoking a cigarette, wearing all black, with no visible logoâs sporting Flix. We are not sure if he worked there but he immediately got up into the face of two other people walking in front of us and said, âNuh Uh! No no no! You are not allowed in here!â Then proceeded to tell them there was a power outage. I assumed he knew them initially from the way he was speaking to them. But after another lady walked up behind us we realized he did not know them. He did the exact same thing to her, got up in her face wagging is finger to her telling her to leave. My friend snapped at him for being so rude to the woman. We went back to our car but decided to park closer to see what was happening to see if we could still go inside to figure out what to do about the tickets we had paid for. We watched this man send a bunch of other people away in the same manner. Then eventually watched the same lady from before make her way inside after the young man had stepped away for a moment. Then watched a bunch more people head inside. So we went back to head inside just to find out what could be done. The young man rounds the corner as we make our way to the door and he begins shouting at my friend heâs not allowed inside. The man attempted to close the door on my friend but he made it inside. I stopped for a moment before my friend grabbed me to go inside with him. There was still a bunch of customers inside just waiting around. We quickly found one of the managers who was helping people. She was extremely polite and professional and told us weâd receive a full refund and gave us a voucher card to come back again to see the movie that night or use it another time. She is the only reason this review was not a one star. As we left the young man was outside and rudely remarked he tried to tell us. But we snapped back and said to him that we had gotten what we came for. I do not know if this man works with Flix or not but he was very hostile...
Read moreNothing to do with the movie but the experience itself. 2 adults one child. Child was sitting between us (2 adults). We picked a showing with the least amount of people. Including us there was as total of maybe 20-25 people if that. Child has ADHD and autism, we are the type the know the word doesn't revolve around him. That's not the issue. The issue came when got a notice saying how need to be mindful of others and be quiet... Child has some loud gasping and laughing moments but there was no loud screaming and/or audible disturbances. And had questions about the movie that he didn't comprehend. The main issue was handing the noise complaint to the minor and not the adults that were with him... Thank you flix for making someone with a disability feel single out. I see how your business is ran against the disadvantaged, why come after/towards minor and not the adult(s) that are with him. That is where the issue at hand becomes something to address. If there is an issue with a minor come to the adults not the kid. Yes kids need to be held accountable for actions we get that, no not seeking the world to show special treatment, and tip toe around it. Saying yes confront the adults with the child of the issue. We picked time with least amount of people to accommodate and be respectful of others due to our knowledge, the least could do is notify the two adults sitting on either side of him. No he wasn't screaming out loud (more than what would expect in a horror movie), wasn't running around etc. @FlixBrewHouse I/we understand there is policies in place for not being disruptive during movies, but I'm sure there is policies for where something happens with a minor and accompanied by an adult let...
Read moreI took my family of 4 to see a movie yesterday at Flix Brew House. We all had dinner during the movie and we also ordered 4 drinks. They brought our food out but no drinks so we were half way done with our dinner and still no drinks. So I told the waiter we need our drinks. He went to go check on our drinks and he brings 2 drinks for the people sitting right next to us who ordered way after us and never brought our drinks. We finished our entire meal and still no drinks so I went down to go ask them and all of our drinks are sitting outside the theater. I inform the waiter that we are finished with our meal. And we didn't even get our drinks. And he said he would take the drinks off of our ticket which he never did. The other thing is their process of billing customer out is terrible, at the end of the movie we were tired it was already midnight and we wanted to get home but they hadn't crashed us out or any other customers so there was a line of people waiting to be cashed out right outside the theater. What they need to do is they need to notice when the movie is 3/4 of the way over and start cashing people out and giving them their receipt at that time that way people can go home right after the movie is over instead of tracking them down to get their receipt. When I informed the female manager of what happened she was not even apologetic at all like she didn't care maybe she was stressed but she acted Like she really didn't care. I spent over a hundred dollars last night and we should have way better customer service than that. We were in theater 7 at 9:30. I just want to mention that in case there's other managers I don't want any other managers to get in trouble if that was not...
