This trail is absolutely beautiful! We were visiting some friends in Albuquerque who had just moved there and we were looking for outside activities to do with kids (ages 2 up to 12). This trail was beautiful and a fairly easy walk. My 71 year old mom with bad knees walked a good way with us without idsue. I wish the tail markers were in better shape it was not super easy to tell which trail led where.
There was a lovely view of the mountains, and had we know the right trail to take, there is a nice view of the Rio Grande as well. My husband went and took a peek as we got my mom back to the car.
All in all, if we lived in the area, we would be here...
Read moreThis is a nice place to come for a quiet walk and enjoy nature. There are a lot of different types of birds, wildflowers, insects, and plant life. Along the trails are a couple of benches and tables. There aren't really any trash cans around- please don't leave your trash behind! There are no restrooms on site and all dogs must be leashed.
