Delicious!! My husband had a Pad Thai with mild spice but it was not spicy at all so if you want spice go for hot. It was filled with noodles and some shrimp but very little veggies. Next our son had a spicy noodles plate and he to got mild but was not spicy at all also will go for hot next time. He loved his meal. I tried the Mango Salmon recommended by our waitress. It was delicious it was like having a burst of flavors in my mouth. Reminded me of sweet and sour flavors. Kind of like a ceviche with a twist. Sliced carrots, Mango, lemon juice, and cilantro with a mild light spice. Next time I'll add some more spice too. Everything was delicious. We had Thai teas they were the best I've ever had in New Mexico. I'm from Oregon we have lots of selections in food and drinks. So I've had many different Thai teas. The food and the tea here are amazing. The waitress was very helpful and nice. She left the check with my husband but I was paying so I found that funny. We left her a nice tip. The restaurant was clean. It was very cold with the door and air conditioning running is my only complaint all three of us were cold. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. ♥️ Thank you for a wonderful delicious experience.

Today I was so excited to share a good Thai restaurant with my boyfriend who had not tried this place. I wanted the yellow curry and remembered it was great a few years ago. Well today my experience was not that great. Their menu specials looked great so we tried the shrimp egg rolls. There was a little meat and full of veggies. They were crispy at the ends but towards the middle it was cold and soggy. I ordered the yellow curry. The soup was very watery and my potatoes were so hard and uncooked in the middle I had to send it back to hopefully get them soft and edible but unfortunately it came back still uncooked so I ended up asking to switch my order to the ThaI fried rice. It was good and had a good flavor. My boyfriend ordered a veggie plate with brown rice. The rice looked Kurt like my white rice died purple with some grai rice thrown in. He liked his dish. The thai tea was very good. We both would rate our food at a 6 at best. I dont know I guess profit over quality is what is happening now. It was not worth what we paid and the veggie plate was quite small. Both my dishes were a decent size. I don't think I'll be back and that's a bummer. Server was nice and food came out fast.

I visited this restaurant today for dinner. I have been here before, and wanted to try something new. I am a huge Pad Thai fan. I have had the Pad Thai here before and it was great. I started with a Thai ice tea, and some water. The Thai ice tea was really good I could of had several of them. For my appetizer I had the stuffed fried chicken wings at the recommendation of my waitress. They were really good. It was like eating a fried egg rolls with a chicken wing wrapper. It was stuffed with pork, peas, and carrots. They were seasoned well, and came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. My main course was the Pineapple Curry with chicken. Spice level I asked for was hot. This was the first time I had this dish, and it was great. The spice was fantastic. It definitely cleared my sinuses out, but it wasn't too spicy that I couldn't eat it. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

I've always had great experiences here, but the last time I visited I was pretty disappointed. Our server's name was Mark, and my boyfriend and I waited almost 30 minutes before our order was even taken, and after that our food took about another 20 minutes. Before we even got our food, a couple that was sitting next to us (that got there after we did) had their food, and left. We were done with our food and were waiting for our ticket (probably waiting for another 15 minutes after we were finished eating) and our server started cleaning the table next to us! We were both in shock that he wasn't helping us. He was about half way through cleaning off the table when he realized we were waiting for our ticket. He asked us if we were ready for our ticket and brought it over. We also asked for to go boxes, which he didn't bring over until we asked him again. After he had taken the ticket, we noticed he was cleaning other tables, bringing other people their drinks, and doing other things. We almost waited just to see how long it would take him to bring over our ticket but we felt like we would have been there for another 30 minutes. My boyfriend just went up to the counter to ask if he could have his card and the order had already been charged and his card was just sitting there! I understand that it was busy, but our server never asked if we needed anything, how our food was, and he never apologized for the wait. We were at the restaurant for well over an hour. Again, I've never had a bad experience here, even when it's busy, which is why I left two stars and not one. So I'm thinking maybe he was new, but that's still no reason for...

The reviews to this place seemed like a nice place to eat Thai food. Then walking up to the restaurant it seemed even more promising. I still can’t believe I paid for this dinner and I would call it a poor choice on our end. So here we go: I will tell you why. Our steamed gyoza was served cold. On the menu it was written payaya salad not Som tam and it didn’t taste anything like it. Not even close. Nothing spectacular: no crunch, fish sauce, garlic, lime or anything for that nature. There was just no balance. All you will taste is dried up Thai chilli peppers. The amazing flavors you would taste from this delicious dish despite it being hot was just not there for me. Not even close! I have worked in a traditional Thai restaurant and Ordered Thai hot in many places. This just wasn’t it. I couldn’t believe this was served to me. The chicken coconut soup my wife ordered was just plain sour. We may have added the packets of sugar to try to balance it out. It just didn’t help. I don’t like to waste so i picked out the meat and veggies for her and just chocked it down with the rice. Jasmine tea was on point. Hot and out of a tea bag. Very hard to mess up! We really tried to like it but it just didn’t work. Our stomach hurt on the way home. If you know what i mean. Good...

Thai-tastic! I invented that word for this rewiew specifically. We actually heard about this place from reading an article in Albuquerque the magazine. Living in Albuquerque and good Thai food have proven to be something of a recluse relationship.

But Thai Boran delivers on all fronts. Every dish was packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. The Thai money bags as an appetizer, are very unique and delicious. We also ordered the yellow curry, and I was impressed. And I do proclaim myself to be somewhat of a curry expert. We chose the medium heat on the curry and it was definitely palatable. Next time I would go for the hot. We also ordered and devoured the pineapple fried rice, Pad Thai, and the mango rice for dessert. I have had mango rice at more Thai restaurants than I can count. I highly recommend that you get it here while you can, as mangos are not always in season.

I believe the only criticism that I could come up with for our meal would be that the Pad Thai was slightly dry. I personally enjoy lots of the flavorful peanut based sauce on that particular dish. The dish was generously sized and prepared well, but overall had a much drier finish.

But we will be back for sure, I recommend this restaurant to anyone that...
