Size selection isn't usually great. Staff is friendly/helpful but there is an Educator I believe his name is Austin at this Abq Uptown store who has truly ruined my visit twice now. I exchanged a pair of Aligns that had stitching unwraveling at the ankle after one wear. He couldn't wait to rudely (and ignorantly since he had no idea how I care for my clothing) imply I must have washed them with non-Lululemon clothing and used softener or the dryer - all of which I actually do not as I've researched and practice how to best care for all the thousands of dollars of Lululemon my household invests in. His tone and approach was offensive. Even though I mentioned I likely purchased them that way since they were so new, maybe just an off pair, he really was preachy about it and seemed bothered to do an exchange. On another occasion, I had a hemming done in store that came out poorly and ruined the shirt. The first Educator I talked to looked at it, was super understanding, kind, and without question said to choose another of the same item to replace it. She notified Austin of the exchange and reason since he was the one at the register. When I got to the register, he questioned the exchange with me asking what happened all over again, despite her already notifying him. He was quick to say that anything resulting from their hemming is not covered or replaced by them... it is at the customers risk if something is hemmed in their store poorly and the item consequently becomes ruined (mine had the hemmed stitching undone and a hole from the stitching.) He arrogantly said everyone is told this when an item is dropped off for hemming and it shows it on the paper... I have had several things hemmed and haven't been told this disclaimer nor received anything but a small claim paper I don't recall seeing anything but my info on. Clearly, he wants to be right and displays an attitude about these things for some reason like he doesn't agree with exchanges. He rang everything up, didn't make eye contact, and threw my bag on the counter rather rudely saying nothing and that was it. In addition to the exchange, I had purchased $400 worth of other items and left feeling the experience turned negative because of his poor attitude. If I could give it a lower rating I would. I was looking for a particular pair of shorts that I thought would be perfect for a hiking & they had it in my size but I wasn’t too fond of the color. I approached an associate & asked & before I could finish asking, the associate interrupted me & proceeded to tell me: “We carry larger sizes online”. Okay, wow. You had my size, I just wanted a different color. So I left. Well, I went in AGAIN today to search for some tote bags. Great, I found the tote bags myself cause of course no one would help me. I then approached an associate to ask about color options & before I could even say anything, he said:“The nearest restrooms are at California Pizza Kitchen”. I’m so done with this place, like I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time cause hey, we all have bad days but seriously? Terrible customer service. I ordered a pair of $128 joggers that were a tad small, size 0, because I didn't look at the size guide. It was my first and last purchase at lulu. I stepped up to the counter, after waiting in line, and said I was a first-time shopper. No reaction. I told her I ordered a size smaller than I need. She did not comment on that or offer that I could try a different size. I received my refund and browsed around for another 15 minutes. Nobody asked to help me. I will not go there again.

I mostly shop at Athleta and had trouble finding a jogger in my small size. A saleswoman at Athleta spent a lot of time helping me. She said I should try lululemon; they carry smaller sizes.
