Ulta Beauty — Local services in Albuquerque

I absolutely love this store! We typically shop at the location on Coors Bypass as it's closest to where we live and it's in a new, great location. Although I must say, the location at Las Estancias in the South Valley is probably my favorite. Ulta almost always everything I'm looking for. There's been a few times they were out of a specific shade I was looking for, but they restock fairly quickly. My favorite thing about this store is they always carry all the items and brands I need, and I can always find a new or different brand of whatever, if I need a change. You can find all the little things here also. I was looking for a very specific makeup sponge, they had it. I needed a specific shade of lipstick to match some shoes, they had it. The staff are usually pretty helpful, and most of them are quite knowledgeable. I love their variety of perfumes, and being able to test all the scents. I have found some new fragrances that are amazing! Their website and app are pretty great. They always have some great giveaways and deals on their app. Our favorite is the "mini sale"! If you ever wanted to try some new makeup that you don't want to spend a lot of money on because you don't know if you're going to like it, but you need to use it for a couple of weeks before you can decide, wait for their buy one get one free mini sale! The store itself is very nice and new. However, the customer service needs improvement. Yesterday, I placed a pickup order around 5:00 PM and received a confirmation that it would be ready within two hours. Since the store’s pickup hours go until 7:00 PM, I called around 6:00 PM to check on the order because I was nearby and also having trouble logging into the app. I explained the situation and was told it would be ready in about five minutes.

The order was very small, just one lipstick and one lip liner, so I didn’t expect it to take long. I waited in the pickup section a little after 7:00 PM, but no one ever came out. During that time, a few employees peeked out at the curbside area from time to time, which made things feel a little awkward. Later that night, I received an email saying my order had been canceled. I understand things can happen, but there weren’t any other people waiting at the time, so it felt like I was overlooked. It was disappointing to wait for over an hour and still leave...

Extremely rude girl when I paid. I'm hard of hearing, aka practically deaf. I explained this to her and she still didn't change her tone, become louder, nor was polite. She actually rolled her eyes as if annoyed at me because I couldn't hear her, especially with the very loud background noises that drowned her out. Which I also explained to her. I try to be nice but she was very rude and I told her I just wanted to pay and leave. I still don't know what she was trying to tell me. Most likely will not be returning here. The one in cottonwood had polite people work there They actually helped you within the store I couldn't find anyone in the store to help me look for shampoo. This location also didn't carry my shampoo and conditioner that I normally purchase at the winrock Mall location. If I could give no stars I would. Extremely extremely rude...
