This is one of the locations I visit on the way home from work. However today's experience was one that will have me taking my business to their neighbor, Raising Cane's when chicken is for dinner. To start off, I was patiently waiting to order just to see the order. I guess it's Michael is his name, just running his mouth with the person in front of me. At first I thought nothing of it but noticed he wasn't taking an order, the tablet was down and he was just conversing as if there was no line. Then when I moved close to the car then the car moved on. But like a puppy, Michael continued to follow and talk where I ended up at the speaker box to order. Then he decides to come back and ask for my order. At that point I would have left but there was the curb that I didn't want to drive over and figured I'd mention it to the manager. (Stay with me it gets better)
Once I get to the party where I pay and get my food (paid cash) I asked the server if there's a manager to where he says he doesn't know if there's a manager there, and he is new and doesn't know who the manager is and if it's a he or she. Puzzled I asked if he can confirm that there is no manager he says he doesn't know, I said ok. Then he called Hugo, (who later says he's a manager) and I told Hugo that he may need to have a word with the order taker because his service was slow and his focus was on the girl instead of conducting business. He said he apologized, and I asked if he was a manager to watch Hugo says yes. Then I asked why his staff saying that he didn't know who the manager is, Hugo's response is that he is new and doesn't know... But when he senses there was an issue he knew to call on you? Hugo didn't have a reply to that question. And all this while I already got my food and waiting for my drink that took quite a bit of time.
Accountability and doing your job is clearly what this location lacks by today's display. To the owner, I'm not sure if they were looking out for one another because they are young individuals, but I assure you this is gonna hurt your business. A manager who clearly doesn't know what's going on and is puzzled when asked about his staff. And staff who didn't want to call or acknowledge if there's a manager on duty is not a good sign that they respect the manager's position, or if a complaint that can be avoided/address resulting in a bad review of this location.
I will be leaving this post for others to see and encourage to also reach out to corporate as I am. Please remember that although this location may be a franchise, it's still a reflection of the...
Read moreI was a frequent customer because I work in the area but the employee, Karla, changed that quickly. I came in and ordered a bowl of soup. I order this quite often. I noticed the container was half empty so I mentioned it to her(Karla). Instead if making it right she says "Well it's a spoon that serves the portion". I said "every other time I've ordered it, it has been full". To which she replays "I can just give you your money back" in a rude way with an attitude. I say "so you cant just add more to it" She disnt say anything but reached her hand out to take the bowl from me. While I watched, she goes to the back and took the top off. She started showing the bowl to a lady in the back and a guy standing next her. They then start laughing and talking with no mask on over my soup. At this point I'm completely over it. I get the attention of a te am leader explained what happened and promptly asked for my money back. The team leader was nice and said she would personally remake iui t for me if I wanted her too or she could give me a refund. I choose the food of course it was my ln lunch break. And she did make it the right way and without laughing and joking over the open container. I haven't eaten here since then but I came back to deliver a package. I walked to the counter and waited to be addressed the same girl, Karla, is at the front counter and never says a word to me, eventhough I'm there to do business. She looks at me, I assume she recognized me from the previous day and ignores me. I then got the attention of another worker so that I could give them their package. Needless to say I wont be eating at this...
Read moreI absolutely love chick-fil-a. I am a school teacher and went on a lunch run. One salad has wilted lettuce, but the other meals were great. Later that evening I discovered that I did not have my debit card in my possession. In fact this particular chick-fil-a kept my debit card in the drive thru. This has never happened to me before in my life. When I called to verify that this location has my card, the sweetest girl asked for my name. I gave her my name. She placed me on hold to research. She quickly returned to the phone and asked exactly what type of card do you have, because I have a large stack of credit cards here. MAKE A NOTE THAT THIS LOCATION WILL KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD. Today, I go to retrieve my debit card. Initially I was asked which drive thru kept your card. Drive thru #2. They don't have it. I inform to young lady that I already confirmed my card is here. She gets upset and goes and retrieves it. I let her know that my application was not swiped. It is too late for that she says. Okay, can you please give me a chicken sandwich for my inconvenience. The manager Yesenia Hernandez says mistakes happen. I can offer you a drink. I honestly feel like she did not understand all the plans that were impeded for your cashiers mistake. I live in Cypress. Beware of this for this location. I am the type of person that can turn lemons into Lemonade but at my favorite chicken spot I would expect a chicken sandwich for keeping my debit card, any other location would compensate automatically. I will try my best to always persuade my coworkers to eat at a...
