DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Allen

I stopped by this store today to exchange a shoe I bought my son 2 weeks ago for a bigger size. Right at the front there were 2 employees standing around the front desk talking to another employee as she was checking out guests and discussing if they are going to the dog park later. I walk over to the shoe department which had a few guests on the floor looking for help with no employees to be found. I waited 5 minutes before a girl came over to help and looked up three pairs which had none in the size I needed. I looked for more shoes and another employee came by after waiting another 5 minutes to flag him. Took him another 10 minutes before he came back to tell me those shoes are also sold out in that size. I asked oh what other shoes do you have in a size 2 when the first employee interjects and said "ma'am our backs are against the wall we are sold and you can go somewhere else" Wow really? I am completed shocked that this is the reponse you give a customer when they are asking for a suggestion and who spent 30 minutes in the store to find no shoes. I even asked for a manager and was told they are busy right now it will be a minute. I will happily take my business else where because after today...

Terrible place to shop. Stay Away Ordered a golf club for store pickup. Got a message that it was in stock and would be ready in a hour. Drive up to the store a little while later, they hadn't even pulled the club yet (shocker). Walked upstairs to the simulator while I was waiting for them to pack my order, and found the exact club I was purchasing in the demo bag. Matter of fact, it was still wrapped in plastic and there were multiple. Took a few swings before the counter rep came over to inform me they "couldn't find" my club. I said I'd be fine with just grabbing one of the several still shrink wrapped demo clubs. Rep said "corporate won't let us sell those". Yeahhhh...the ones you had in stock all magically walked out of the store and the bundle of brand new clubs you have, that are still packaged, but now have a "demo" sticker on the shaft, are not for sale? Wouldn't have anything to do with this being a popular club that re-sales online at about $100 over your sale price, would it?... How many employees in this store have one stashed? Yep, pretty suspect and certainly bad business. I'm done with...

So from the beginning, we got to the store and asked if we could get the shoes since we looked them up and the size was in store, after saying yes the lady who doesn’t work in the shoe department just left and went to help someone else. wasn’t done until 30 minutes later. So we take our shoes to the cashier and he RETURNS ONE OF THE SHOES WE BOUGHT AND EXCHANGED IT FOR ONE OF THE OTHER SHOES WE BOUGHT. So then we go back and wait for the lady and she finally comes and takes forever but she finds our shoe, then we finally get to the cashier with four shoes and this one is a little smarter but it still took forever to explain to her that we weren’t buying three shoes and once she finally understood she had to take 20 minutes to void whatever the first guy did, then she had to return one shoe, take the money out, purchase one shoe, put the money back in, and then exchange the other set. and then...
