The story: about 6 weeks ago I was picking up for specific delivery app company at the time and the wait time was terrible, (I was told 15 minutes and it ended up being almost 40 minutes). I was new at this and didn't realize I could have just dropped it and let another driver grab it. It was about 10 or 11 pm when I went in to pick it up. I did a couple more gigs after and headed home, but while at home I decided to go on and write a review due to all the not so great things I had seen and the terrible wait time even though it had been hours later.
The thing that has been bothering me is that the owner did not nicely address the issues I wrote about like he had with the other negative reviews. He came back with a very aggressive response and that is fine, but he went into the delivery driver app that I picked up for and gave me one star and said I was unprofessional while in his restaurant which is very untrue. I stood at the door behind the plastic shield in a very warm restaurant and politely waited for the order I was to pick up.
I am appalled that the owner went in and lied about me not only as a driver, but as a person, and possible customer. His retaliation affected my payouts and I could have been fired.
Mr. Small Business Owner, your reviewers are mostly wonderful and my review would have never affected your rating in Google or your income. You told my workplace I was unprofessional and I absolutely was not. I lost money waiting the almost 40 minutes for you to finish OUR customers order. I am unsure if you had been having a terrible evening or what may have been going on in your day and even stated that in my original review, I even stated that you were very nice and it could have just been an off day. I deleted my original post not for what I had put in my review, but because of the response you left that some could have taken out of context and could have cost YOU business.
I still think often about how you retaliated and tried to defamate my character out of anger. I needed to ease MY mind so I write this to help you understand that I am a person and lying about any person's behavior inside your business or out because you were not happy with a review makes you a terrible human being. As I said before and in my original post, I do wish the best for you and your small business, but hope next time something like this happens you think before retaliating with lies that could cost someone the small income they count on to help feed...
Read moreI can't really recommend this place for to-go orders right now. I used to love eating in their restaurant and didn't have too many issues. Today, though, there were multiple issues with my to-go order.
I submitted the order online at 5:30. It was thirty bucks but I figured I'd be getting a lot of food. Unfortunately, it really wasn't. Besides that, I showed up at 5:45 and call to tell them I was there. They said they'd have the food out in five to ten minutes because only one thing was waiting to be made. Twenty minutes passed, I called them again. They said they only had one thing to make - the smoothie. Another fifteen minutes passed. Finally, they bring everything out. The rest of my food? Room temperature. It'd been sitting on the counter for the past 35 minutes at least. I had to microwave it, which kind of ruined the pinwheel ragoons I ordered.
I selected the lowest spicy option on their website - a 1, because I didn't really want it spicy (I can handle some, but I wasn't in the mood for it). As I'm typing this, my mouth is still feeling hot and my nose is still running from half of my food I ate twenty minutes ago. It was quite spicy, to the point I couldn't even finish it.
Oh, and I'm not even sure what's the point of the in-depth ordering system online. I put that I didn't want throw-away utensils or napkins as I have regular multi-use ones at home, and I ended up getting them anyways. I'm thinking perhaps they don't bother to actually look over the...
Read moreI REALLY want to give it 5 stars. I just can’t bring myself to do it. The staff is super nice and helpful. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Also, the food is super good! I really enjoy the Pad Thai and my family enjoyed everything they got as well.
My main issues are the smell and the wait. This is my second time here and I was hoping the smell would have been fixed, but I’m guessing there is a sewage leak that needs a very expensive fix, otherwise I’m sure they would have fixed it sometime within the course of the month between my two visits.
The wait time has been about 40 minutes both times I’ve been to this restaurant. It is better to go if you are wanting a place to hang out for a while than to quickly stop by to pick food up on your way somewhere like I was both times. It’s not their fault I didn’t order ahead of time; I just wish it didn’t take 40 minutes to make the food. The first order was a single order and the second was for 4 people, so the wait time doesn’t seem to depend on the quantity of food. 🤷🏼♀️
