I scheduled my appointment with Julie for a curly haircut after reading a few OZ Hair Studio reviews. She asked me some questions and started dry cutting my curls. My hair has been weighed down for a while now, and along with all of my at-home cuts, it needed some help and shaping. She cut the length and layered it and then washed it and asked if I wanted to change anything again. She kept checking in with me, which was awesome and I LOVE my hair. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable. I have extremely fussy, curly, and thick hair which very few people have ever truly cut correctly. Ryan cut my hair properly.

He also uses Olaplex shampoo and conditioner which is nice.

Room is unassuming but Ryan and his partner have been in business for a decade there, so that should tell you something about his skill.

Highly recommend if you have curly hair and are dissatisfied with standard options. It is always more expensive to go to a salon but your hair is one of the first things people see when they meet you. Getting a slow wash and cut is always a pleasant escape. First of all, the studio is nice and small, rarely is there anyone else besides me and the stylist, looks like there's a max of two stylists and two customers.

I've been seeing Ryan here and he always does such a great job with my curly hair! He cuts it while it's dry in its naturally curly state, which helps keep it looking as expected.
