I had a positive experience ordering a SE X1S microphone which was packed well, shipped promptly and received in good condition. I like supporting a local business (especially a Wisconsin one -- go Badgers) that can compete with "the big boys." That said, there are a couple of "dings" I have to make. One is that they seem to be out of stock on quite a bit. I wanted to say the other was that they seem to have "banker's hours" but many banks these days are open Saturdays and even Sundays. The more limited hours and stock situation makes them less of an option at times which is unfortunate. Sometimes you need something pronto on a Saturday or Sunday or even during the week and you'd like to be able to drive there and get it on the spot if necessary. If they have it in stock and can take, process and get your order to you promptly they are worth a shot. (I always like dealing with a place, too, where if there's a problem you can get in the car, drive there and resolve it on the spot...

I happily categorize this business as a breath of fresh air vs. your typical "guitar center". David, a true audio expert, helped me to craft the perfect custom solution for a client of mine to capture their audio for podcasts!

Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was easy to get ahold of, responded promptly, and was very knowledgeable on the products. The thing I love about supporting this local business is that they will listen to you as a musician and meet you where you are at...never once did I feel like I was being "up sold" or pressured to buy products I didn't need.
