Lil Taco — Restaurant in Appleton

Well, it's an interesting place to be sure. It's tiny, with seating for less than 10 people, not all that easy to find and I can't recommend their interior decorator. That said, you don't go to Mr. Taco for anything but the food, though the employees are about as friendly a lot as you'd want to meet.

I have had half the items on the menu over the years that I've been going there and have yet to find something I didn't like. Everything is made right there in front of you, after you order it and with care and expertice. The food is flavorful, the sauces that accompany your meal are a perfect combination of hot and spicy and you will not go away hungry.

Their prices are reasonable and the selection of meats to try is vast. My favorite is their burrito made with either steak or chirizo and use the green sauce to start with. If you go once,...

This place is the place to be. My husband and I have been going here for a couple of years and our other couple friend as well. The food is authentic and tastes amazing. It's not really a sit down place to eat. There are a few seats you can sit if they aren't taken and in the summer months, there's a picnic table outside. Otherwise you will have to stand and eat. Either way, it is definitely worth it. It's even better after you've had a couple of drinks out in the town. You usually have to talk to the one who is the cashier as only 1-2 usually speak English (at least with what we have caught on to). Even with a language barrier, they're all very nice to their customers. On average, you will probably spend about 10 bucks or less if you're doing just a couple of tacos. Otherwise, you will probably spend 10-20 on a meal....

Very disappointed with the service which is the reason for my rating! I work with a child on the Autism Spectrum who loves going to local places to eat. We ordered 2 american style tacos requesting ground beef, cheese, and sour cream only. We received the meat and cheese, but lettuce instead of sour cream! When we arrived the music was so loud even for me!! The child I work with politely asked if the man would turn down the music. The guy rolled his eyes and completely shut off the music in a huff! We have been working so hard on using the appropriate words and manners. I am so disappointed...
