Fox Cities Exhibition Center — Attraction in Appleton

It is a nice big space for large groups. However. There is minimal parking and the space was very cold. They could have gave it an industrial feel with exposed brick and a treatment on the concrete floor. The sound also reverberates everywhere a few more sound dampeners need to be added. The escalators worked very well except for when a large group is trying to exit the building. We all bottle necked in the same space which resulted in those getting off the elevator running into those waiting to get out the door. There is a large window and hallway space directly in front of where the escalator ends, another exit should have been put there in order to keep people from getting stuck/ran into by the other people attending. With smaller groups who aren't all leaving at the same time it should be...

Trying to get to the home show here can be summed up as inconvenient. It was our first time here, trying to find a place to park is your 1st challenge. The parking ramp was packed, and then the walk way to the hotel was closed. We had to work our way down to the street, and then outside to the hotel on one of the coldest days of this winter. Try to find the walk way from the hotel to the expo center is the next challenge. It is poorly marked in the hotel to try to find it. We had to ask at the front desk of the hotel where it was. Once your in the expo building it is journey to get down to the expo floor itself. The home show itself we attended was informative, and fun. The location of this facility, and the inconvience of nearby parking is a challenge though to attend...

I was here for vaccines. They have a very nice set-up that allows a lot of people in, but still able to keep social distancing. I have been administering vaccines, and I have my own little cubical and everything I need. Wish they had more handicapped parking and closer general parking. It's a long haul for older or disabled people to get around. They assigned someone to me each day to push my wheelchair. It would be hard to do...
