I AGREE!!!! Young black girls do not spend your money at this location you will be racially profiled as soon as you enter the store. My daughter was asked to leave the store after being followed around. The representative told her that she could not be in the store without her parent although she had her own money and I was right outside. When I asked the representative of Claire’s of the age requirement regarding shopping in the store, she stated that “you had to be 18 years of age in order to shop at Claire’s,” in which I know Is not the truth. I was denied the name of the manager and the contact information to the corporate office, when I requested it in order to make a complaint. I had to research the information to the corporate office. I wouldn’t take my pet to this store to shop. This store lacks customer service in a tremendous way. Claire’s representative stereotyped my daughter and made her feel extremely uncomfortable in the Claires establishment. I would never shop at Claire’s again. Both associates were very rude and unprofessional. My daughter deserves the right to shop comfortable without being “profiled “ by representative of the Claire’s establishment . Read moreTerrible service! I took my six year old girl over the weekend to get her ears pierced for the first time. I asked whether they would use any cream to numb the ears, the lady said no and that it should be okay. My daughter was so scared after her first ear got pierced and she was crying so much from the pain that she didn’t want to get the second one done right away.
I asked whether we could schedule an appointment for another day once my daughter calmed down to do the second ear. The lady said that if I scheduled another appointment, I should pay the full price again! I had already paid for the service and for the earrings! On top of that, she wasn’t able to give me the earring that was left in the original box (so that it could be reused for the next appointment), neither was she was to keep it in the store for me to return later in the day to talk to the manager who wasn’t there at that time or to use it another day in a second appointment. That was ridiculous! Instead she suggested that I forced my kid to get her second ear pierced right there! Seriously? Please don’t take your kids to get their ears pierced there. I've called the store talking to 3 different managers and 1 was extremely rude. Started calling their 1-800 number 3 times a week, never got a call back. So one of the customers who had the same problem told me to email clairs to see if that works. I then learned that they only have 1 representative to return calls but was told that it was too late to get a refund or my son ears repierced. How can u do anything about that if u have to call the 1-800 number and to not get called back.
