👎👎👎👎👎 I went to this salon trying to get a good experience with my hair, We had an appointment 11/28 where I paid you a total of $330; for a hair cut and moisturizer my her and that left me devastated. She new that she didn’t do my hair properly, but she was pretending that was fine, when she finished my her wasn’t dry, and when I came out was terrible, she only cut the ends of my hair and she charge me all that money, and I texted her and she even said nothing to me, she posted all her pictures, and mine she nerver posted until today, because I texted that big message, and she never answered, but pictures that I have after my her dry it’s the worse picture that I saw in my life about my hair.
I'm only just now able to truly put into words and take action for the emotional distress and damage you've caused me. I expect a full refund for the atrocious state that you left my hair in. I walked in excited to have the opportunity to make a change with my hair, inspiration photos on hand.
After you revealed it to me in the chair, I fell silent; something I never am. I am a bubbly, outspoken person who beams light and positivity. After seeing what you had done, I was in shock, denial. I walked out in disbelief that I had deceived by you and then charged a ridiculous amount.
I have been recommended to take legal action should you not return the money I paid. I paid for a haircut that would help me feel better about my hair, more confident. Instead you left me leaving and staying in a state of insecurity.
If you do not refund me, I will post this on all social platforms and move forward with a civil suit against you.
I expect an immediate refund in process by the end of today.
Do not go to this person if you have natural hair. She convinces you she is capable of taking care of your hair, but does not know what she's doing. She manipulated me, abused my hair and played on my...
Read moreI wanted to like Heba's Studio, but I ended up paying more money than I've ever paid for a haircut for truly the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I have mixed texture hair with tight corkscrew curls near my face and big waves in the back. When I went into the studio, Heba was quiet and short and did not make me feel welcome. I showed her a few pictures of cuts I liked (and have gotten before from curly hair specialists) and she said she got a good idea of what I wanted and began cutting. She did absolutely nothing like the pictures and instead seemed to do whatever she wanted. I asked for 1-2" off; she added layers that I didn't want (all the pictures had blunt cuts) and ended up taking 5" off the outer layers. She also didn't cut my bangs even after asking her twice. The hair was very uneven on both sides and I had to go home and cut it myself to fix it. When it dries naturally, the ends flip out awkwardly. My hair looks like a giant puffball and will take months to grow back. It's just hair, I'm not scarred forever, but it will be 6 months to a year until it's long enough to cut again and I can maybe try to wear it down again - as it is, impossible. I mean no disrespect to Heba, and I didn't want to write this review because I hate speaking ill of others. I imagine she probably cuts different texture hair much better, but I wanted folks to know so they don't end up in the same situation as me. As with a lot of people, I feel such a strong identity to my hair - at the moment, I feel like I'm missing a part of myself that will take a long time to get back to normal. For the bad vibes, inability to listen, lack of transparency about price (she told me anywhere from $100-$250), extreme price (she charged me $190 - and my hair wasn't particularly long, thick, or difficult to begin with), and overall hack of a cut, will not being going back and would not recommend....
Read moreSo, I don't normally share 1 star service (I'd rather not say anything at all and I don't want to be unkind) but I will simply communicate that this was a bit of a disappointing experience in that I didn't have one but was excited to try it. I trust the reviews that say once the service is performed, everything looks great, but I had an appointment scheduled 2:30pm on a Saturday. On that very Saturday (see picture of text messages) at 1:57pm, I got a message from someone at the shop asking if I can come at 2pm. I live 5 minutes away so it wasn't an issue but didn't appreciate being asked at 1:57pm to come at 2pm on the same day for a shop I've never been too. When I get to the building, I can't find the entrance for a solid 5 to 7 minutes and tried calling and texting their number and couldn't get in contact with anyone. Then, I find a side entrance that listed the studio's name and call number but I still could not get in contact with anyone and at that time it now was around 2:30pm which was my original appointment. I'm sure the services are great once you get them, so please give them a try, but for me, if I am going to pay good amount of money for a service, I need the timeliness and level of professionalism to be there as well. So thank you Heba, but I'll keep looking and maybe try you again...
