Kroger — Local services in Arlington

Pickup orders are al.ost always 2 hours late from scheduled time. Over past 4 or 5 orders there would be 1 or 2 items missing but easily refund in the app. Tonight, all bread items were smashed flat into bottom of the bags with 2ltr. Soda bottles on top of the bread. 6 bags of chips were open and dumped into the bag. 18 egg carton was closed up and place in bag the eggs were dumped into. Frozen potato skins with box open and inner plastic bag open. Frozen cheese bites with box open and place bag in box ripped open. Muffins on order not even in the order. Basically only liquid drinks in Plastic bottles of a $300 order were not damaged. Called the Manager that told me he would check and call me back, didn't happen. Tried to put refunds into the app but the app gave a mesaage no refund to call the store. Clicked to call the store and a male answered and said can't refund if not submitted in the app. I told him I would bring the damaged items back to the store and was told I would bev trespassed and arested if a came to a Kroger Store. Filed a Complaint with Kroger Corporate office. Told I should get a refund in 5 to 10 days. Why threatening to have me arrested when it was their employee's damaging 1/2 the items ordered and paid for. Now I have no food and money won't be refunded for a week or more. Kroger obviously doesn't care one bit. What we eat for a week. My groceries ordered total $400 to $550 each week. Them keeping my money for 5 to 10 days, if I go to Kroger, I was told they will have me arrested for Complaint about all the food obviously intentionally destroyed That I won't eat after they opened packages. Again Kroger doesn't have a problem with that. For all I know the packaging are opened and some type of drug or poison applied. Again KROGER Dosen't care unless people are dead from...

This Kroger is a convenient stop on my way home and that is it! My recent experience was through the checkout where a cashier was being scolded by supervisor Ken. Cashier behind me apparently was on his cell phone when Ken came up and loudly scolded cashier like he was 5 years old. " Get off your phone, you know you are not suppose to be on your phone " ...I honestly blocked out everything else that Ken was telling this cashier, because after that first comment I was upset at the fact that Ken was speaking to cashier in that manner in front of other employees as well as customers. I had manager called so I can address this to him/her...20 min later..NO Manager. Brian , another supervisor stated that he could not find manager..so told Brian about how Ken should have taken employee to office in private. Brian than proceeds to tell me that this cashier has been written up and suspended for this same situation and staffing issues are a constant problem. So BASICALLY, this cashier is not the model employee but you keep him anyway because of staffing issues and Ken was totally justified by degrading him in front of everyone. If employees are treated with respect they actually may want to...

BEWARE!! If you ORDER a cake from here, know you probably wont get it, and wont be told you arent going to get it until the day you are supposed to pick it up... I mistakenly tried them for a SECOND time with the same results...I had ordered the cake 2/11/25, 2 DAYS, 48hrs BEFORE pick up was scheduled, I walked up, guy on his phone,(had to wait until he told the person on the phone to hold on before he acknowledged me)...then the lady said "I tried to call you" but there was no call from Kroger...but even if I had missed the call, she could have left a voicemail🤷.. why did no one call me on 2/12 to let me know?.. excuses run abundantly in their bakery department... needless to say, I will never order even a cookie from them...do yourself a favor, go to the baking isle, buy yourself a box of cake mix and frosting and get creative because this particular cake was for Valentine's AND I was told they were out of chocolate!, what!, the day for chocolate and you have none?!!🤦...maybe instead of the store ordering an entire banquet room of flowers and balloons, they should have thought hummm Valentine's 🤔 we're gonna need...
