Normally I really give the benefit of the doubt to fast food restaurants as it is a hard line of work to be in. However, I feel something is fundamentally broken about this Taco Bell location. Disclaimer, I have been to many Taco Bell locations many times (for better or for worse), so I’m not new to their offerings and know how stuff should taste and/or be prepared.
One likely issue: I’m sure they are lacking in employees. This helps nothing. Unfortunately this results in, generally speaking, very excessive wait times in the drive thru. Often over 30-45 minutes, no matter what time of the evening. This is my primary issue with this location. I’m confident there are not enough people working to contribute and speed it up, but I’m also confident that there is a work flow/work ethic issue that makes it impossible to get on top of the orders. Work ethic because I’m sure it’s hard working there making it hard to be motivated to do your best on the job. Work flow because I usually see 1.5 people doing all the work and the others not contributing. Dining room wait times are not applicable as it is never open. It’s unfortunate since we’d like to sit down and eat there with our kids occasionally. Speaking of kids, my kids got their cinnamon sticks and complained that they tasted funny. Tried one assuming our kids were just being picky, only to find they tasted like sanitizer. Thinking it was a one off thing, we ordered them a separate time a few weeks later. Again, they tasted like sanitizer. How does this happen? Not sure, but we won’t be getting the cinnamon sticks from this location again. Obviously there’s the usual stuff like orders being messed up; missing items, wrongly or poorly made items, etc. though oddly enough that’s not always an issue here.
Just want to be able to get Taco Bell close to where I live and not expect to wait 30-45 minutes. If it weren’t for the very tasty items that Taco Bell produces, which I often want, I’d avoid this location until I hear it’s under new management...
Read moreHello! I’m very frustrated with my experience at store #5228. I went there yesterday (which was 12/26/2024) to try the nuggets meal. I went inside and self placed my order and patiently waited on my food. When i received my food, the nuggets was warmed and my fries was hard and cold. I called the young lady over that was on the headset by the window and asked her can I get my fries remade. She then went to the back and talked to JIMMY and I noticed she started laughing which really got my attention. I then went to the side to look at what was so funny about remaking my food and I heard him say in a very rude and angry voice is “tell her to come back or something, I’m not about to do that I’m busy!” I asked “so he’s not going to remake it?” He said “he don’t have time for this shit!” ….. I thought to myself why would I inconvenience myself after paying for bad service?!…. eventually Eventually I asked for a refund and everybody kinda of stood around and the other young lady that was in the window said “I’ll do it.” Once she put the money back on my card, I ask JIMMY for his name and he wouldn’t give me his name. I noticed everyone was kinda intimidated by JIMMY so I finally did some digging in my own and got his name. The way he acted towards me I’m sure he’s gotten away for his behavior and know that no action will take place. I will be talking to the store manager Liz and see what type of action will take place. I’ve already spoke with one of the managers and she said they were short handed and he’s not a table person so he may was frustrated. She also stated that it usually 8 ppl there but they only had 4. I explained to her that that’s not my problem….. how I would have handled that situation I would’ve let the customers know that “ We can definitely drop you some fresh ones and we’re a little short on staff so it may take some time but we’ll get you taken care of.” I will be back to let you know the update on what action that was...
Read moreI get it, it's rough working in the service industry because I myself am a service worker but this place really broke it's last leg with me. I started by ordering my food on their kiosk. They didn't have what I wanted at first (which cost 2.99) so I ordered their Large Nacho Fries (which also cost 2.99) then the worker told me to get the regular size (which is 2.19). I said ok at first because I didn't notice the price difference and they were busy. When I noticed the price difference and pointed it out, the employee told me, albeit a bit rudely, that she didn't know and walked away before I could say anything else. I also didn't get two other things I ordered there was hair in my Food the employees I spoke to were very rude and condescending even though I tried my best to be understanding about it being dinner time and the staff being busy
All in all a very terrible experience for me and my family. I HIGHLY recommend ANY other taco bell than this one. I also wanna add that I've been coming to this taco bell since it opened, even though it's father than the one that's closest to me, and I am always polite and respectful. I was treated very poorly tonight and wish the best to everyone in this situation but I will not be coming back for the...
