Read moreMy fiancée and I had a birthday party there yesterday for his son’s 6th birthday. 3 weeks prior we had called to ask about having his birthday party there and the man had told my fiancée it was fine just no coolers. In our mind, no coolers meant it was okay to bring 2 liters just not a cooler to keep them cold. We went to the bowling alley yesterday to set up and the man told us no outside drinks. We were a little upset about it since we were just told no coolers, but it was okay. Things could’ve been worse. Well, things got worse. The party started at 2 and not even 30 minutes in, the man, who I’m assuming is either the owner or the manager was incredibly rude to my fiancée, my best friend, and my soon to be sister in law’s husband. At the time we had 11 people (more soon to come). He came up to my fiancée and mentioned someone had not paid. Three people tried to explain to him that everyone had paid hence why everyone who was playing had their bowling shoes already. 5 kids and 6 adults. He refused to listen to three people try to explain to him that everyone had paid and kept interrupting those trying to explain to him. My best friend stepped in and was trying to explain it to him and is very expressive with her hands. He slapped her hand! To which she got an attitude with him. After 30 minutes of 3 people trying to explain to him everyone paid, he walked away and wouldn’t listen. So my friend gathered everyone’s receipts and walked up to the counter to show him everyone had paid. She stood there for about 15 minutes and I guess he realized his mistake because the bowling screen changed, but he never came back to apologize for how he was acting or for slapping my friend’s hand. Highly disappointed as to how this was handled when it could’ve been handled...
Read moreLong review but worth the read The bowling alley is decent. Staff is friendly & helpful. It would be nice if they had ramps for the kids to push the ball down. Apparently they are all broke? The food is well, bowling alley food, but isn't horrible. The miniature golf course is a whole different story. I give it a -1 star..My kids, 5 & 2 & I arrived at 11:30 this afternoon. The gate is locked for whatever reason considering the website says they open at 10:00am. So we are outside waiting, my kids obviously upset and anxious. A lady yells across the parking lot "someone will be right there". At 11:50 a man pulls up & doesn't speak a word to us. I expected an apology or even a hello. Nope nothing. Then another employee pulls up talking about how it was his shift to work that someone messed up the schedule. For 7 minutes they talked as my kids and I are standing there waiting to get into the get and get started. Finally he says "let me get them started" and unlocks the gate. Once we are finally golfing my oldest removes some leaves so his ball can go in, then my 2 year old shows me his feet red ants are crawling and biting him. I had to strip him and take everything of. After that we go back up front to get my 2 year old dressed. The employee goes "don't forget his bear (my son set it down)". I told him we wouldn't we had to sit down and get dressed because red ants were on him and biting him. Never asked if he was okay or ask where about so he could hmm you know kill them?!?! Never again will be golf there. Bowling we will...
