Andrew & I came here because we wanted to try a new Mexican place. It was rated highly but did not have a lot of reviews. At first we were the only people in the restaurant. So I had my concerns. But come to find out they had only been open for a couple months. Wow were we delighted. I got chili rellenos and it really had one of the most superb flavors of any I have tried. Andrew got the chicken ACP and really liked it. I would give them a 4.5 or so because it's just a small storefront restaurant. Not a luxury dining experience. But the quality of the food was fantastic. And they went out of their way to service well and to make sure we were happy. We will be back.

My wife and I tried Senor Sazon for lunch and we were impressed. The restaurant is clean, the staff friendly, and the food was great. We had the Chicken Empanadas & Chicken Flautas. The food was hot, tasty, and was a good serving. This Mexican is different (and better) than the other Mexican in town. We liked that the menu has pictures of the dishes, so you will know what to expect. If they maintain the level of service and quality of food, Senor will soon be one of our go to restaurants in town.

My sister and I went here last night and had a great experience!! We went in to order to go and saw that their margaritas were on special $2.99 so we decided to sit down and enjoy one!!!! Regular sized margarita was $2.99 and they were delicious!!!! The food when we got home was just as good!!! I ordered the quesa birras and was NOT disappointed!! The salsa was awesome!! They have daily specials!! Small, quaint atmosphere but still enjoyed very much!! Please go and support them!!

I rarely rate restaurants. I only do it when the experience is horrible or EXTREMELY POSITIVE. This was EXTREMELY POSITIVE!!! Mexican food in Asheboro tastes just like Mexican food in Siler City, Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, Raleigh/Durham, Greensboro, Charlotte, Winston & the list goes on. And that's just immediate surrounding areas. I was a "frequent flyer" when it was Senor Mason and the flavors hit EVERY TIME. Food was awesome and I NEVER had a bad experience with them even when there was a wait. Flavors made it worth the wait Staff was always pleasant & courteous. Just happened to miss my turm and hit their parking lot to turn around. When I saw the open sign, I couldn't just leave without "investigating. SO GLAD I I DID! Prices, flavors & quantity is on POINT! I got the pork chops entree & steak fajitas & OMG. Even the salsa for the chips blew my mind. So if this is the old Senor Mason.......WELCOME BACK! Wow. Just passing through town for the night and chose this place because it was close to the hotel and I was absolutely stunned!! I’m American but have been to Mexico a few times and I can tell you, this is not only as good as the restaurants in Mexico, I’d say better! It tastes like home cooked Mexican food!

I had the enchiladas verdes and the green salsa was some of the best I’ve ever had. Rich, thick and full of flavor. If you live close to this gem, I’m jealous. I will definitely plan any future road trip around stopping here to eat.

Even though I live 7 and a half hours away, I will be back! Heck it’s closer...
