My Son worked here for 4 Months, going in everyday and doing a good job. On Jan. 25th of this year he was to deliver pizza's from 11:00 a.m. until around 6:00 p.m.. That was the day Asheboro had the snow and ice storm. I warned him not to go in because of the terrible road conditions. I am the Co-signer on his car loan. Pizza Hut enticed him to come in saying he had a large order of pizza's to deliver at one location and that he would receive a $50 to $60 dollar tip. He has been struggling to support his two small kids 6 years old and 2 years old every since we moved from Wilmington, N.C., to our original home area of High Point and Asheboro, so he really needed the money. I have helped him and the kids alot. That day while delivering Pizza Hut's Pizza's he slid thru a stop sign on the ice and hit a truck and total lost his car, which he is still making payments on. I went to the crash site and helped him with the Highway Patrol and gave both my son and the truck driver a ride home. I was very upset with Pizza Hut and their District Manager. I talked with him about the incident and asked if Pizza Hut was liable in any way. He told me they were not liable and could not help my son. I can not remember his name, but I really don't care what his name is I have no use for him or this Company. Now my son has no car, no job, I told him to quit Pizza Hut, since he was not making very much money anyway, and we could not afford to risk the loss of another car. I also told him that he should not be working for such a Dishonest Company as Pizza Hut. He is still looking for a job and my wife and I are still helping him and our Grandchildren any way we can. I hope anyone who reads this will think twice before they patronize this Company. Thanks Everyone, ...
Read moreThe manager Gary Horan is the worst position possible manager ever. I came in here a month ago brought two friends with me spent $43... Order cheese sticks they look like bread sticks with a glob of cheese in the middle it didn't even go to the edge like they're supposed to.... Mr Horan I wanted to argue with me saying he was going by spec, when I worked at this location almost 15 years getting and I'm pretty sure the specs did not get worse. Cause Pizza Hut tries to better their product, & spec's when I worked here were way better, & he was the one cooking, those chessestix were dry..... well I came in today to see if it was any better and I'm having the lunch buffet: the servers are very polite and professional, the food is decent, however mr. Horan is still being the complete and total jackwagon which is the polite word for you know what... This location could improve with better management and a total renovation it doesn't look like these walls have been painted much less washed in 15 yrs..... the servers that for Mr Horan's mistakes are treated so rude and harshly do customers deserve that kind of treatment from him...... there was a hair in my salad and I'm beginning to wonder what kind of company Pizza Hut really... When I work for them I thought they were a great company but now I won't be back.... you can order delivery from here, actually ordering delivery, cause the order always wrong, & in the delivery driver goes and runs personal errands before you can even bring your pieces which is another hour hour and a half... Okay my rent and over..... I do applaud the staff here as far as servers and cooks too for putting up with a jackwagon such as Mr Horan..... I...
Read moreI placed an order online on May 11th (Mother's Day) for a large Pepperoni with extra cheese and two Caesar salads. When I arrived at the drive-up window and told the girl the name of my order, she rang it up, and I paid in cash. She handed me the pizza and said Thank you. I told her there were salads with the order, and she said that she would have to make them because she had forgotten about them. She was gone for over 10 minutes, and I thought to myself, wondering if the pizza had been prepared correctly since she had failed to fill the order. So, I opened the box and found that half of the pizza was burnt, and it lacked the extra cheese, with the toppings not even within a reasonable distance from the edge of the crust. When she came back with the salads, I told her and another girl that the pizza was burnt and that I did not want it. The other girl asked to see the pizza, and when she looked at it, I asked her if she would eat that. She, of course, said no and offered to cook another one for me. They told me that they were busy and that the pizza had stayed in the oven too long. I said if they could do it right and not burn it, that I would wait. She then handed the salads to me, and I asked if they were Caesar salads. She said no, that they were out. She could have told me that from the start. At that time, I asked them to refund my money, which took them a considerable amount of time. Cash payments should not take that long to process. Needless to say, I went to Sir Pizza to buy my pizza and salads.
