My kids and I have been collecting East Fork Pottery for a few years now and love adding pieces. I just bought both of my kids the weekend bowl in the new color Mollasses and it is STUNNING!! The new color is a beautiful rich brown and the glaze has the smoothest texture. It feels smother than any other item I’ve gotten so far and all of their glazes feel great already. The bowl somehow looks like is made of the softest leather . Both kids (adults) were so happy to receive the bowl for their birthdays. It’s was a great standalone gift and I highly recommend it if you are looking to gift one special piece of pottery in a phenomenal color that goes with everything. My daughter put it right out on a credenza under her tv on the wall for decor but said she can’t wait to cook something to serve in it. The new color Nightswim is also in the same smooth finish and just as beautiful and almost as neutral. Eastfork hasn’t missed with their blues and greens. I got a Coup Bowl for myelf in Nightswim. I find this shape bowl the best for pasta/bowl meals and love adding...
Read moreI love these guys and their beautiful store. This is a great place to find something you didn't know you needed. Every time I walk in that's what happens to me. They make their own pottery, and offer beautiful sets worthy of being a wedding registry item, and their mugs are all the rage around town. They produce seasonal colorways of their classic silhouettes, so there's always something new to check out. They have curated a rotating selection of other wares that perfectly complement their pottery line in addition. This is a great place to find a truly unique gift, or several! Also, I may be a little biased. I know Connie and Alex and some of their crew, and they are lovely people whom I have always enjoyed. This is the kind of place and these are the kind of people you can feel really good...
Read moreRude staff. We were walking by and wanted to stop in. It was about 10:55 am and they open at 11 am. A gentleman that works in there appeared to be approaching the door as if he was abt to open it for us and greet us or welcome us in, but to our disappointment and before even saying good morning he said "we dont open for another few minutes" as he was walking thru us on his way out of the door. And he locked it. We waited outside for a few minutes and some lady just unlocks the door without even acknowledging that we have been waiting outside for them to open so we can buy something, but unfortunately she doesnt even look at us. First impression is all i needed. I ended up not going in and sitting outside to write them this review instead of giving them...
