DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Ashland

Not a good experience. Went to the Ashland Ky store on Monday, March 31 around 11 am. I went to purchase a long gun adversited in the sunday ad. The Ruger 10-22 Laser rifle at $279.98. I had a 30 mile round trip to specifically visit this store. I waited several minutes in the sporting goods section for an employee to show up. A customer in front of me, who was there when I arrived walked off and came back with an employee. The employee helped this customer and when my turn came I asked to see the item I had intented to purchase. I was told that item was locked up and that he worked in another section of the store. He didnt have the key but he would get a manager to bring the key. He talked on his in store walkie and said someone would be on their way. After 5 to 10 minutes, I started the timer on my iphone. As I waited the employee trying to get someone to help me came back after many minutes, and asked if anyone had showed up. No. Again he talked on his in store walkie, and assured me somneone was on their way. When my timer got to 15 minutes I went to the service desk and asked for a comment card. We dont have any, is there a problem was the answer. Yes, Ive been waiting at least 20 minutes to be waited on, and another employee had called twice asking for some one to come and help me. Even thought they offered to call some one a third time I declined the offer. I fell for that trick twice. I left. I purchased the item I went there to buy from another business. Not bad...

Went in looking for a pair of athletic slide on shoes for my husband. He found a pair of NCAA UK slides but they were too big and were just laying on a table. I looked around for more but couldn't find any. I went up front to the registers (because there were no associates to be found on the floor) and asked the woman, who I'm pretty sure was the manager, if they had anymore of the shoes or if that was the only remaining pair. Her response was, "If we do they're back there on the UK pad." Instead of looking in the computer for me because she was too busy talking. I went back and looked again and couldn't even find a place they belonged. I finally found someone to ask for help and her response was, "IDK, I don't work in the shoe department..." even though we were on the "UK pad". When we checked out I wasn't asked if we found everything okay or if we found what we needed to complain without sounding rude. Poor service if...

It had the nastiest door handle in a public bathroom ever. It looks like everyone is required to run their crack through the door handle before existing. I just looked at their stuff to see what I may buy online later. And not on their site, I mean E-bay or something. I would have to roam the streets naked, earning money to buy one item at a time until I had an outfit. I guess my only suggestion to other consumers is to wear vinyl gloves before existing the bathroom, but E-bay those as well because Lord knows you couldn't afford to buy them off of their...
