The Sallie House — Local services in Atchison

My friend Teresa and I went to the Sallie house on 09-04-24. I am here to tell you that the house is haunted, we got there right at 3 pm just as we walked in I saw my worst enemy a doll in a buggy so I covered it with the blanket I brought. ( I do not like dolls lol) Then we got settled in and dropped our stuff off in the dining room then went to check out the house. We went upstairs and went into the Sallie room and sat for a moment then went into the master bedroom the air in that room felt heavy and I started to get a headache. After we investigated the house we decided to go get dinner so we ran to town and came back (the dolly was still covered when we came in) we went and sat in the dining room to eat after eating we went out to smoke and that doll was uncovered. (creepy). Then Teresa went back upstairs I didn’t want to go. I still had a headache so I told her I just stayed downstairs. She was up there for about 510 minutes and all of a sudden she is yelling for me like scared yelling. I go running upstairs and she tells me that the blue balloon that was in the bedroom was spinning like a top and walking back-and-forth, and then something dropped o and forth, and then something dropped off the bed. we sat up there for a while longer to see if something would happen again it did not happen. I did have my Ghostbox out. We got a few nonsense words the name is Sally came up twice. (just to let you know we are smokers so we do go out of the house a few times.) so we go back outside to smoke it’s dark by now. We’re sitting out there. The street is very busy out front so there’s a lot of people walking cars driving this guy walks by the shadow on the house. We pay no attention to it but a few minutes later there’s another shadow that comes across the house, while we’re sitting out there, we’re looking for a shadow to be an unexplained shadow. so we go back in the only thing that’s lighting. The house is some battery operated candles because you can’t have candles in the house. She has her EMF. going, I have my ghost box we were talking heard a few clicks and thumps nothing major still not too many sensible words I would say, but after this point every time we went out, we put on our recordings we heard growls we heard bangs. We heard cabinet doors closing and so we finally decided to go back upstairs into Sally’s room. I’m laying on the floor recording at one point recording the balloon nothings happening so I pull out my box again and start talking to it asking A questions and at oat one point it said. It said flames, footprints, fire, and shadow at that point, Teresa heard footsteps. My ankle started to burn like something was on it burning it and then she seen the shadow so we got freaked out. Ran downstairs and turned down all the lights. LOL at this point I want to see if there are any marks on my ankle there were not. so many more things I could tell you about, but this would go on forever so I did hit on the majors. I said on all of our recordings there was a scream bumps growl. That house is haunted going....

The Sallie House is no joke, we heard footsteps, we caught things in pictures, voices, and even growling. The house smells like death…we left to go get something to eat and came back and it was smelling like roses. I got scratched, my hair was being played with, my mom had something touch her face, her legs went numb and we all got light headed and had bad headaches in the master bathroom. We actually had to step outside for a second because we felt so uncomfortable and like we where not welcomed in the house, we where sitting in the living room when we heard some very heavy footsteps coming from the master bedroom, we started to pack up and I started to feel sick to my stomach. We went outside to put our stuff in the car and we looked at the master bedroom window and saw a dark child like figure in the window. My brother-in-law and my mom went back inside and I was on FaceTime with my friend, my sister and I looked back at the window and saw another dark figure standing there looking at us, by this point there’s 2 dark figures in the window. We left and stayed at a hotel. The next morning we left the hotel and went back to the sallie house to pick up, the whole vibe was different, (it was almost comforting in a way) we went to sallies room and all the toys where picked up. It wasn’t past 9 so no one else would have been there. We went to the Atchison museum and where talking to the people who work for the sallie house, we asked if anyone has been there yet and...

I had my 3rd and last visit at the Sallie House. I will say the previous times we did get some action. First visit at 3am all of our phone flashlights went black and that was pretty creepy. Second visit: as soon as we went lights out we heard heavy footsteps coming from what sounded like halfway up the stairs, the balls got rearranged from biggest to smallest, heard walking around upstairs. Third visit: not a good experience. All of our throats were burning and we felt like we were getting sick. I always felt a dizzy feeling in the house but honestly after this last time I’m thinking they may have a severe mold problem. The house smells overwhelmingly musty..that can’t be good..I also think the house may have been blessed as we had ZERO activity inside the house. BUT they need a disclaimer for groups that spend so much money on an overnight stay in October because we had tour busses coming by every hour on the hour from 8-10. At one point we opened the door to 30 people standing in the front lawn. Another group tour just helped themselves to the backyard. We were a group that actually investigates locations and all of our evidence was compromised with the amount of people helping themselves to the front yard, back yard, side of the house and even onto the front porch.
