I’ve visited Crosland Tower at Georgia Tech several times lately, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it balances modern design, thoughtful functionality, and a bit of aesthetic flair. After the renovation, the space feels open and full of natural light, with plenty of study spots ranging from quiet corners to collaborative areas. The specialized studios and labs—like the Innovation and Ideation Studio and Data Visualization Studio—make it more than just a library, and the Crosland Chroma installation on the terrace adds both beauty and safety. Seating capacity has doubled while the building itself became far more energy and water efficient, which is a huge plus. My only small gripe is that the tinted glass panels on the rooftop can sometimes obscure the otherwise amazing views of Midtown and Tech Tower.
