I visited Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium a few times, and it's one of the most striking college ballparks around. Nestled right in Midtown Atlanta, the views alone—from the playing field up toward the city skyline—make attending a game there a special experience .

The facility itself is top‑notch. The renovations—including Champions Hall, the Mark Teixeira Skyline Terrace, upgraded concessions and restroom facilities, and a high-tech indoor training complex—elevated the stadium to a modern, really engaging venue . As a fan, being able to enjoy the game from premium seating or the terrace while taking in that Atlanta backdrop was a major win.

Seating-wise, there’s a nice mix of comfort and capacity—about 1,100 chairback seats behind home plate and more than 2,500 bleacher seats make up the total capacity of 3,718 . Whether you're after a cushy seat or want to blend into the student-packed bleachers, there's something for everyone.

The game‑day vibe is energetic but not overpowering. You'll find students cheering, Buzz the mascot making his rounds, and even the classic Ramblin’ Wreck making an appearance to get everyone fired up . Food options are decent, although a few say concessions can feel slow and limited at times—and not exactly the cheapest on campus .

Parking and accessibility are decent too. It’s easy to park right across the street (for a small fee), and MARTA stops within walking distance make reaching the stadium a breeze if you prefer public transit .

One of the cutest things: they host “Bark at the Park” events—two games each season where fans can bring their dogs and enjoy discounts on giveaways like dog bandanas. Super fun touch for a relaxed atmosphere .

All in all, Mac Nease Baseball Park is a beautifully renovated, well-situated, fan-friendly venue. Whether you're a die-hard Yellow Jackets fan, visiting with friends, or bringing a dog along, it consistently delivers on both comfort...

Was in Atlanta for a brief visit and decided to pop over to Georgia Tech for a Sunday afternoon baseball game. An absolutely lovely ballpark! Loved the layout and the location with the city in the background. Only complaint were the bathrooms could use an update. Otherwise a super nice field and ballpark. Way to go Yellow Jackets. Always a plus to see Buzz hangout with the fans! Would definitely come back to a game...

I'm a GA. Tech Baseball ⚾ Fan 4 Life. I've attended Games going on 20 something Years. Lol.

So Proud GA. Tech Hosting the HBCU College Playoffs. Attending Games to support my Pitcher on Bethune Cookman Team. Mr. Gerald Bess. Smart Talented Pitcher stuck on the Bench.

Attending Semi-Final today Bethune vs Gramling College. Winner play Alabama State Univ Sunday.
