I was really hesitant to start CrossFit again. Honestly, I was intimidated—worried about my fitness level and whether I could keep up. I even tried easing back in with some Orange Theory before working up the nerve. But from the very first class at CrossFit Chuck Buckhead, I knew I’d made the right decision.
The coaches and members are incredibly welcoming and encouraging, no matter your starting point. They remember your name, take the time to help you with fundamentals, and meet you exactly where you are. The environment is supportive, friendly, and patient—everyone is rooting for each other, and you quickly feel like you’ve joined another family.
Make no mistake—the workouts are tough. That one hour in the gym will push you. But the other 23 hours of my day? I feel amazing. My energy is up, my mood is better, and my overall quality of life has noticeably improved since I started here.

All the coaches are welcoming, humble, experienced, and well-educated and create an environment to knock out a great workout without injury or fear of failure. They’ve always been supportive and their coaching approach has allowed me to improve my form and technique at my own pace. No matter your skill/experience level, you fit right in and learn a lot. There are no show-boaters and never felt out of place due to my strength and stamina.
Class sizes always seem to be just right, never had a problem finding a rig or equipment to use as well as getting the individual coaching support I need. The gym is always clean and everything works as it should.

I love the community that I’ve found there: I know most of my friends from there. It’s the place I look forward to going every day. I am a 6am workout Person and going to CrossFit resets me at the beginning of the day. It’s like therapy. I love the Mayhem programming with the strength cycles, we’re constantly working on improving our lifts. I also enjoy that people with many different skill and experience levels come together and do the same workout.
