Hello Good People!
Ryan was amazing from start to finish. He was very professional and gave us A+ service. In spite of his car accident, he still came through and press forward in providing me and my love a wonderful birthday experience. We stopped at so many main tourist attractions from historical figures that still resonate within us today to keep “ hope alive” to down the memory lane of our hip hop culture. This isn’t your normal tour. You will walk way with black historical lessons, stories to share with your loved ones, feel a sense of proud to be “ black”. Our black community has done so many great things in the world to be always celebrated and supported.
In spite of it being a hot day, Ryan made sure we were nice and cool in his truck and every spot we visited. I also loved all of the personal touches from capturing photos of us and music to go along with the tour. Everything was well thought out and prepared.
I consider Ryan the Mayor of tours of ATL. Everyone knows him and he is well respected. He took us back to our roots of why hip hop is known in AtTL and exposing you to movies that were created in ATL. It was nice to see my first Cinema studio and historical figures such as MLK residency.
Remember, what Ryan tells you to remember by the end of the tour. We must continue to live by it always and forever.
Thank you Ryan for the wonderful experience. Tell your wife thanks for her...
Read moreJust finished our Hip Hop Tours of Atlanta tour with Ryan. It was awesome. First of all, the communication from him concerning the gas shortage was top of the line. Our tour was on Friday, he called us on Tuesday to let us know that there may be an issue concerning the tour. We got a phone call every single day with an update. Ryan worked it out, picked us up at our air bnb, and off we went.
This tour was a true, raw, no holds view of Atlanta. Ryan gave us so much background information about the people, music, movies, and history of Atlanta. The real estate in all 6 zones from then to now. From the foundation of hip hop coming out of Atlanta to the current industry. The Tyler Perry studios to the history of Martin Luther King. And his playlist that correlated to each stop was on point. (Whoever came up with that needs a hefty tip😉)
His manner was so laid back and relaxing, I felt like I was riding with a long lost cousin. He answered all of our questions and it's clear he grew up here. He threw in a few trivia questions and kept us smiling the entire time. We would not have experienced 1/4, scratch that, 1/10 of what we saw today if we had just rode around ourselves. He has a true love for his city and it shows. Southern hospitality at it's finest. 10/10...
Read moreMy son and I booked the HIP HOP ATLANTA Tour with Ryan, the owner. We were hoping to schedule for our first full day in the ATL, but Ryan was booked until our very last day. Unknowingly, we had saved the absolute BEST experience for last. Ryan picked us up from the hotel that morning and from that point on... the fun never stopped. I loved how the music that Ryan played in his SUV was synchronized with the tour. My favorite part of the tour happened as we left the shopping center at Headland and Delowe. Ryan played Elevators by Outkast and he and my son "rapped" along. I sang the chorus not knowing until my son told me...that I had been singing a couple of the words wrong for almost 20 years. I have been to Atlanta a couple of times before, but never have I ever seen so much of the city. My son thoroughly enjoyed hanging with Ryan and I was greatly impressed with all of the Atlanta history that Ryan shared with us. The caveat of our trip and the tour was that although we had planned to ride the MARTA to the airport, Ryan offered to take us to the airport ...and dropped us off at our terminal. Listen folks, if you want to learn Atlanta History, have loads of fun and leave the ATL satisfied that your vacation money was well spent; schedule your tour with HIP HOP TOURS...
