Came here while visiting Atlanta after ages. Coworker dragged me along as he know I love Pizzas, and landed at this spot tucked into a lovely, office-filled Midtown neighborhood surrounded by offices.
First impression? Place has vibes. Cool interior, super chill Punjabi beats playing in the background—it felt like a slice of Amritsar decided to open a pizzeria in the middle of ATL. Love that for them.
Now to the food. I ordered the Paneer pizza (because, obviously), and my friend went the meaty route with a chicken one. We also decided to “snack responsibly” and got a samosa.
Paneer pizza = 9/10 crust game. It was perfectly baked, saucy on the base, and stacked with a generous amount of veggies and paneer. Honestly, it felt like someone took my childhood comfort food and gave it a spicy Italian remix. I’ve had my fair share of Desi pizzas, but this one’s definitely among top tier.
The samosa, however… Hmm. Let’s just say it was more bland than brand. The crust was as unseasoned as an unsaved Word doc. You can skip that one and save room for more pizza.
BUT—the real star of the show? They had Thums Up. I repeat: THUMS. UP. It transported me straight back to family summer vacations and sticky hands at roadside dhabas. Totally elevated the experience.
All in all, Tandoori Pizza & Wing Co. is a Desi delight worth checking out. Great spot, friendly folks, and arguably one of the best Paneer pizzas I’ve had in the US. Just don’t let the samosa betray you.
Pro tip: come hungry, and definitely grab a Thums Up on your way out. Must try the salted and spicy cashews...

We had been to this place several times in the past when it was located inside Politan Row at Colony Square and loved their pizzas and other items. Naturally, we were excited to visit their standalone store, so we decided to take a friend there for his birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an extremely disappointing experience.
Firstly, the person at the cashier was very unresponsive and not at all welcoming. It makes me wonder why someone would choose to work in the hospitality industry if they can’t provide good service.
We ordered a paneer-based pizza, which was awful. The pizza sauce was overly sour, and there were far too many jalapeños, making it overwhelmingly spicy—not in a pleasant way. Our mouths were literally on fire, not because we couldn’t handle spice (we’re Indian and well-acquainted with it) but because of the excessive heat and poor balance of flavors. It completely ruined my friend’s birthday meal. I brought this issue to the server’s attention, but she seemed clueless and didn’t know how to resolve the situation.
Additionally, the art on the wall depicting an Indian woman is an inappropriate representation of Indian culture. I hope the owner recognizes this and makes the necessary changes.

Read moreI recently returned to Atlanta after 8 years, and after landing, I was eager to grab a bite to eat. While exploring Colony Square, I stumbled upon Tandoori Pizza and Wings, and the concept immediately caught my attention—an intriguing fusion of Indian and Italian cuisines.
Curious to try it out, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Pizza. The aroma was incredibly robust and flavorful, which only heightened my anticipation. The combination of traditional Indian spices with the classic pizza base worked surprisingly well, creating a unique and delicious experience. The pizza arrived quickly, showcasing the kitchen’s efficiency and care in preparation.
What made the visit even more enjoyable was the restaurant's selection of Indian snacks available for purchase. It added a nice touch, giving me a taste of authentic Indian flavors beyond the main dish. The staff member who served me was exceptionally professional and polite, enhancing the overall dining experience with his friendly demeanor.
Tandoori Pizza and Wings offers a creative twist on familiar dishes, and I’m glad I took the chance to try it. Whether you're a fan of Indian spices, Italian comfort food, or both, this spot is definitely...
