Came in for a fill-in plus I was missing three nails I started off with Mikki she started me off good with a good base and getting my shape together I wanted a specific design they told me that somebody else was going to have to do it. I waited 30- 45 minutes. Just for the guy to come in and change the shape make them flat and he was not able to execute the design and kept deciding to do what he wanted to do instead of what I asked for so then I ask for money back for the design I was refunded that but I also had a problem with my base so they got someone else to do it. Unfortunately I had already paid so getting any refund back for the base of my nails was becoming a hindrance at that point and I had been at the nail salon for at least five hours now, so I’m beyond irritated and wanted to leave. it’s only been 5 days and I already have my thumb broken and a thumb on my left hand cracking ready to break and both hands already look like they’re ready for a fill-in . I paid $70 for this unsatisfied is not even the word not even the word to describe my experience & how upset I am about wasting my money you can see in the pictures below how uneven each hand is each finger is a different shape. The base down to the tip is so thin and un even on some of the nails you can actually see the base of my real nail. And I’ll actually add in the picture of the design and set style that I asked for see you all can see how far off it is and that I didn’t even end up getting the design because they...
Read moreWhen I arrived at Nail Talk, I specially stated that I was coming in for a pedicure and manicure with gel polish. I asked for an ombré style for the nails, if possible, but also had an alternative color picked out.
After my pedicure, one of the techs came over and I told him what I wanted. He stated he didn’t know how to do the ombré style with the gel polish, only the SNS. However, after consulting with another tech, they had someone who could.
When I sat in his chair, I explained that I had SNS previously and it completely damaged my nails and I only wanted a manicure and gel polish.
He went to file my nails and I asked him not to. He said that “it” wouldn’t stay if he didn’t. I asked, “the polish?” because I never heard of this before and he said yes. Once he finished, he grabbed the powder for the SNS and I stated, AGAIN, that I did not want the SNS and only wanted a manicure and gel polish. I showed him the color that I wanted instead. He grabs my hand and shows how the filing has caused my nails to be extremely thin and that the polish wouldn’t look good at that point. That he could “make it all even again” with the SNS.
These techs completely ignored my requests, ruined my nails, and essentially forced me into getting a service I stated SEVERAL TIMES I didn’t want.
There are several nails salons in this area. Save yourself the headache and don’t go...
Read moreLove this place! They always get me right but I’ve saved 4 receipts from that last few times I’ve been and none of the prices are consistent. Some days I’m charged $10 for certain things and some days it’s $5. I pay between $110-$140 every time and I always get the same thing. Black nail techs don’t even charge this much and I know it’s about demand but these prices are ridiculous. Two pedicures should not be almost $200. I don’t care. Ivy was amazing though. It’s 2025 and everyone is using gel polish!! so why is it $25 extra? Especially when I wasn’t even asked if I wanted gel...
