I stood by the phone as my daughter called to schedule two HALF HOUR massages for she and I. I heard her specifically ask for half hour massages. My massage therapist was very good and she gave me the courtesy of telling me that as an owner at the resort that I would receive a 15% discount. When I got ready to pay for my massage, I was charged for a 1 hour massage because that was what I had received. I checked my watch and realized that I actually got a 45 minute massage. I asked why wasn't I informed of this?? I dont mind paying for an hour massage if it were actually an hour. Niesha, my daughter's massage therapist, who also referred to herself as the manager, explained to us that they include 10 minutes to disrobe and get dressed within that hour so the massage is actually only 50 minutes of "Hands on". Niesha claims that she also explained this to my daughter before she started her massage, to which my daughter said she did NOT. Niesha did, however, tell my daughter before her massage started that her session had been scheduled for one hour. At this time my daughter told her there was an error and that we scheduled for half hour but my daughter decided to go ahead and do the hour and she asked Niesha to make sure that I knew. Niesha assured her that she would let my massage therapist know, but I wasn't told anything, which is why I was confused when I reached the counter. When my daughter raised concerns at the front desk about the actual length of the hands on massage, Niesha accused her of being hard of hearing then blamed it on the "loud music"!!! Loud music? Read moreI was planning to treat a friend to a Swedish massage for his birthday yesterday. When I called in on Thursday to make the appointment I specifically asked the receptionist if she had any available appointments for 2 for a 50 min Swedish massage on Saturday. Her reply was "I have 4pm and 5pm available for 2 ". I told her I would take the 5pm. After I gave her all of my information she explained to me that I would get a text to confirm and to fill out the intake forms. I then asked if it would be 2 separate texts for the forms and she told me I could use the 1 link to do both forms. When I arrived yesterday they only had 1 appointment booked. We were offered to do 1 at 5p and 1 at 6p but it would have been an inconvenience for our other plans. So because I decided not to take the 1 appointment. They charged me a cancelation fee for a mistake that they made on their end. When I called today to address the issue I spoke to 3 different people.one of them being the manager. They were extremely confident that the mistake was on me and that I only made the reservation for myself. The manager even says to me that she was sitting next to the receptionist when I made my reservation. She also says they only had 1 intake forms for me when clearly I have the e mail confirmation for both. Read moreI honestly am very unimpressed. For the cost and what the package stated I would get I felt I was mislead. The package stated it was apprx a 3.5 hr service and I was done in 2.5. When I left I felt the lady checking me out knew I had the robe as I didn't try to hide it and felt it was the only thing making the experience worth the amount I paid. However minutes after I had driven away they called to ask for the robe as they couldn't find it, but again I never hid it and it was in my hands or on their desk while I paid for the service. I had to also pay for parking as they don't have a spot for their customers to park for free. Not to mention the lockers legit did.t open and the attendant stated they have problems with it, which if she had told me I may have opted not to lock it and be locked out from my stuff. I honestly am very unimpressed with this service and wouldn't recommend it unless you have money to throw away. The massage was good however I have had better facial, wraps and massages for 125. Unfortunately the worst value I have experienced to date. The only thing that kept this from 1 star is the massage tech did a great job, however the 30% tip that they include should provide the customer with something decent.
