Very disappointed in the service I received. I have been a pass pro credit card holder for two years now and never thought I would get this kind of service. I recently went into the bass pro shop of Auburn hills to get a quote on a 1436 Grizzly tracker jon boat with the trailer and a 9.9 hp mercury WITH ELECTRIC START. Key word ELECTRIC START. I was quoted the out the door price with everything as stated. Once I got the quote I was told if you want the boat you have to put $500 down for them to pull the boat out of there system to mark it as sold. Which was fine, the problem was the communication between the boat specialist team and my bank. Once I took the quote to my bank, the women I was working with at my bank tried to get in contact with bass pro and spent 2 hours trying to get the serial numbers and such need for the loan. After she finally got through to them, they were very confused as to what was going on. Once the lady at the bank got everything situated with bass pro shop, THE BANK called me and said everything was good to go. When I went into get the quote they told me once the boat specialist talked with my bank, they would call me and schedule me a day and time to come in and pick up my new boat. It was THREE DAYS before I ended up contacting them telling them no one ever called me to schedule a pick up time. The lack in communication with this team is ridiculous in its self. So I finally got a date and time, show up to get said boat and they made me wait an hour after my schedule time to sit down and finish the paperwork. Once I was finally starting to fill paperwork, I noticed the paperwork saying 9.9hp MANUAL. I said excuse me, this was supposed to be the 9.9 electric start, so she calls the boat center and talks with the person. Turns out they misread the paperwork and put a manual start on my boat. They told me they were sorry and told me they would have to order the electric start putting me about 3-6weeks out before they could get it in. I said this was very unacceptable. I said fine just give me what you got, and settled with the 9.9 manual. After I was all said and done with the paperwork I went to pick my boat up at the distributor. Once I got there the people at the center didn’t walk me through how to use my new Mercury. It’s a good thing I’ve done my own research and know how to operate it. With this all being said and done I think I should have given someone else my money. This was HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL for what they did and the lack of communication. I don’t think I would ever by another boat...
Read moreI go to the range a few months ago, and I'm asked to remove a concealed loaded weapon (first time I've ever been asked to do this anywhere) so they could put a trigger lock on it and then place it in my range bag for walking to the range. (their website states they respect cpl AND open carry)
3 weeks ago I go to the range, and to prevent another awkward unholstering at the front door I bring a hard case with three pistols in it, already cleared and they didn't have enough trigger locks. I was there at opening, so I don't fault the person who couldn't find them as he probably didn't work the night before. But I just stood there for 20 minutes as the nice greeter acquired them from somewhere. Granted this is a "safety measure" to put trigger locks on pistols in a locked case that I am carrying so I can walk across the store and to the range.
I tried the range again this weekend, and after reading their website, I decided I was not obligated to talk to the greeter. I walked right through with my range bag, 1 concealed in a holster, the other one concealed in my range bag (in a bag is concealed) and when I got to the range, the nice attendant asked me what I was shooting, and I pointed to my hip and then said I have 1 additional one in my range bag. Range attendant then tells me that if it is concealed, I do not need a trigger lock, but if it is concealed in a bag it needs a trigger lock. I asked if concealed in a purse was ok, and they said yes. I was not going to try bringing my case of what is the difference of someone walking in with a pistol in a purse being fine, but a shoulder mounted range bag is a no-no. Maybe I should just refer to my range bag as a purse?
I don't know what the rules are, but every time I've been to this location the rules were different prior to the last visit. I'm not one of those crazy carry people who are going to argue with the greeter about what I'm supposed to do, but I do not think that clearing a racked and holstered weapon should be done at the greeting area at the mall.
Range is nice, some of the motors are a little janky and scream at you when they are moving back and forth. The lighting is 8/10. Air movement in the rifle...
Read moreI have been in there twice now, drove an hour each way, to look at a bow that was just released this year. The bow isn't cheap and I was very interested in it, the first time I was in I was showed several bows and then found the one I was looking for. The guy treated me as if I wasn't a serious purchaser because I was a girl, he also was pushing me to try a Hoyt in which made me second guess my purchase entirely. On top of that, he didn't know anything about the bow. I understood somewhat as he said that it just came in that day I decided to think on it and left. Yesterday 8-11-2017 I went back to look and purchase the bow. He was the same person as last time and the only guy there; which there is a sale going on and only one person to help 4 different customers. He recognized me and knew the bow was sitting in back for me as I called earlier to hold it. He didn't get the bow out instead he told me he wouldn't have time to help me. I was there an hour before close because that's what time I could arrive. I was getting very frustrated. I am buying a $700 bow and to be told no one had time to help and to not even get the bow out for me?! He said he would try to make time and I waited around 30 minutes and went back up there to be told again he wasn't going to have time to set the bow up for me and if I just wanted to purchase it he could have someone ring me up. I told him all I wanted was to shoot it once to make sure that I liked it before spending that kind of money, in which he then told me the range was already closed and I couldn't do that and again offered he could have someone ring me up if I just wanted to purchase the bow. I was infuriated. I would be much more understanding if this was my first time in and I was just kind of looking but the matter is I went to purchase the bow and it isn't cheap. I wasn't about to just walk out the door without at minimal shooting an arrow out of it when I was there an hour before closing. The customer service was poor and being a women hunter I should expect the same service as any gentlemen who walks through that door. I am now planning to buy the...
