came in for coffee with friends.

friend ordered a 12oz iced drink and inquired about upgrading to a 16oz. the guy making the drinks, stops to look at her and asks her, “is 50cents too much?” (to upgrade) my friend laughs it off and he goes back to making drinks.

kinda rude and aggressive.

anyway, it’s my turn and i order a 16oz iced latte. i leave a tip and wait for my drink. the guy makes the SAME SIZE drink! so i ask if its the 16oz cause it literally is the same size.

he proceeds to tell me there is only one size for iced drinks. even though i paid for a 16oz. and he then asks me if i want the 50cents back… like that’s not the point. all i asked was is it 16oz and he flips out on me. like dude im wearing a Louis Vuitton bag - do you THINK i care about 50cents…?

i tell him i don’t want the 50cents back and that it just looks like the same size and i was asking about it. but if he says it’s the same size, then fine. not worth fighting over this with someone who clearly isn’t in a good mood!

anyway he was very rude and aggressive and defensive at the same time. not friendly at all. not professional. would not come back for the poor customer service. :/

New coffee shop in Great Lakes Outlets. I was warmly invited in by one of the owners Zach, and figured I would give it a shot.

Definitely a good choice! I got a Latte with a house made syrup (forgive me I don't remember the name of it... was some spice who's name I have forgotten at the moment) and it was really good! They strike a good balance between adding a flavor to the latte without overdoing it like most coffee shops.

I've also tried a pour over, which was so good I didn't want a creamer.

At this point I've met both the owners and their main barista, and they've all been very friendly - honestly its nice to just have a good chat sometimes!

All in all I am happy to have a new, GOOD, coffee shop at a mall I am often frequenting for at least...
