If I got a chance to give 0 star, I would have gave that. Let me share my experience. On Friday evening (07-05-2024 around 7:30pm), I visited this store right after my internship with my laptop bag. I purchased a product from puma and columbia store and was about to exit the mall and then I saw this toy shop where I stopped to buy an interactive toy for a 4 yr old baby. I thought of giving it a glance and then exit the mall. As I saw, there were many interesting toys and so I was contemplating on which to buy. I thought, I need some more time, so I used the restroom and was back to the store. I was looking ahead on which to buy. Finally, I made my decision with a air hockey toy and gone for billing. The shopkeeper should be around 55 to 65 years old, who asked me “Why are you guys trying to steal” in the billing counter, where I was about to pay for the product. As I am an Indian and a random lady at the store was an Indian, he thought that we were trying to steal from that shop. It seemed to me as a kind of racism prevailed there with the shopkeeper. I asked the shopkeeper to call the cops and check the CCTV footage, but he said he is not willing to check that and he also said that he knows that we were trying to steal. I took my phone and was about to pay for the product using apple pay, but finally decided not to buy in a store like this after that issue, so called racism. The Indian lady seemed to window shop in the store at that time. I don’t know when did the Indian lady left the store, but she was not there at the time of this argument. So please be alert with this guy. Also, when I was exiting the store after deciding not to buy the product right after the issue, he said that “ Have a nice day and stop stealing”. He didn’t know where am I studying and how much am I paying for the tuition. Let him know that now. I am an international Masters student at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and I am paying $32,000 per term. So it doesn’t make any sense for me to steal a toy product which was not even worth $30.

If the store owner saw this review, please just ask that shopkeeper to grow up and stop...

Today my wife and I were in the store with our 10 month old baby, we were at the register told her we didn’t need a bag for the two items. As I handed her the 40 dollars to pay for the item my fiancé started to open a toy to give to our baby. The lady at the register paused the transaction and told us we were not allowed to open the toy until we have paid for it remind you she was holding onto the money. She felt the need to continue telling us this about 3 times before finally completing my transaction. She made the experience at this store very unpleasant and one sided and did not seem to understand when I told her we are paying for it right now, you legit are holding the money paying for the item. Seems like an employee who was given some sort of power position and is on a power trip and does not care about customer...

there was a line at mall just before11am waiting for the Disney store to today. the mall was pretty much empty otherwise, when the woman from your store made a point to say "you can't block our entrance." so my wife backed up as far as she could to leave an opening to your store about 4-5 ft. through which one family entered. the woman then came back and said "seriously you can't block the entrance" the entrance was not blocked any more than if the mall was busy and there was no reason to harass people. a minute later when Disney store opened there was literally no one in front of the store! I've never been in your store and now I probably never will. customer service an politeness go a long way with me and the opposite...
