If you want a company that is going to stand behind their work, do not hire ATX Smarthomes. They completely rebuilt my Control 4 system which had issues. It initially was stable with only some minor glitches. The technician who did the work was very responsive and meticulous. However, that was contract worker who no longer works with them. My main TV broke and I replaced it and arranged for them to come out and integrate it in the system. Eric came out and it seemed when he left that it was working OK. But within 24 hours it began being unresponsive to the controller. This problem spread to other tv locations in the house. I called their support line multiple times and nobody ever answered. I did not want to pay their last invoice for Eric connecting the tv to the system until the problem could be corrected in a way that would be stable. Instead they decided to terminate their service. They do not stand behind their work.

Addendum: it is a fascinating but not factual reply. I switched service and it was rapidly clear that the item which did not work properly was not programmed correctly. It was a straightforward repair. The other two items which malfunctioned at the same time were also fixed. One had a loose connection which was fixed and the last item was something that had a balín issue. The problem is simply that when you call for service it should not be so difficult to get in touch with them and if you install something, you stand behind your work for a reasonable minimum of time say 30 day. We hired ATX for large project, most on here were small. They were to convert the house to a smart house 100 plus light switches, router, ring cameras etc. Everything was to run through control4. Well the Nest, they could never get to work, nor the Ecobee. So Ac we have to use separate app. They still haven't replaced 6 switches in the house. The router was finally removed by spectrum and replaced with their router, after 9 trips out by spectrum and ATX saying, it was Spectrums fault. The fans on the patio, still don't work via the switch or app. Twice when asking for update, I was told sorry forgot to get with scheduling. ATX has yet respond to refunding me monies, for work not completed. Totally incompetent for a large job. Probably good at...

I highly recommend this company for all your smart home needs! They did a phenomenal job at what I requested them to do. They showed up and did everything on time like they said they would. Joseph explained what had to be done in a very professional yet simple way and he was great at communicating everything throughout the whole job. He not once ignored our requests and he made sure to meet all our requirements which I am very appreciative of. If you are in the Bastrop area I suggest you give them call as it is very difficult to find somebody to come out here and on top of that they are super professional and reliable.
