Check with new worker...great! Sat outside in heat because inside is too small...realized I forgot to get my stamp for purchase so went back in before leaving and another clerk came over 3 to 4 minutes after I was standing at counter unhelped so I had to go interrupt her conversation towards back with other workers for help. Explained I forgot to get stamp for purchase as I new about it cause I usually frequent the Georgetown location... she was like let me check with manager which is who I probably should have dealt with... but she comes back and says they ran out of cards... ok.. understanding... but my question was how can I get credit for my visit as I'm sharing with her my receipt incase that was necessary but she offered no help a d said I just couldn't get it etc... people usually give us their card at time of purchase... and I explained ok.. I totally forgot until I was eating and later thought hey they stamp... either way... cause their out of cards I got no stamps nor my daughter... and offered no accommodations for return credit of purchase. A note or something could have been written on receipt along with stamp or manager seal or something. So squash that I was then needing clarity about validation for parking and asking if she could help me understand the screen etc... it was our first time there. Just trying out a new spot... but felt very devalued and purchase unappreciated after that even though the new employee that checked us out on her first day did a fabulous job. (Phobee) but the other young girl was of no help nor welcoming. Not returning for sure... will drive all the way to Georgetown should I...
Read morePlease don’t go here if you are African American. The workers will call the rental cop on you when you request fresh cookies because all the Gooey Butter Cake cookies were burnt. When asked if they could make fresh ones they refused stating they can’t make any more and if I needed some I would have to place an online order. I needed 12 they informed me they can only sell 6 cookies. Then when I asked for the corporate number they young lady stated they don’t have a corporate number and when asked to write their information down her and the young guy were laughing like it was funny to them. So as I sat down to look for the corporate number they were calling the rental cop. I am pretty sure if I was white this wouldn’t have occurred. Anyhow the rental cop processed to tell me to leave and I kindly told him no because I wasn’t stirring up any drama just looking for a number to place my complaint. Then he started acting like top flight security by telling me my rights and that he’s recording me. He told me he was calling the cops and I told him I didn’t care because I didn’t do anything wrong. Listen this is the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life just to purchase some cookies. I will never go back to this place and will never refer anyone to this location. I remember the earlier days at this location the customer service was great. Now it has gone way down hill. Don’t go here oh yeah if you don’t believe me about the rental cop I’ll...
Read moreOn Saturday, August 15th, my family and I came into The Baked Bear (Austin) to finish off our girls trip as we headed back to Houston. I was one of the last people to enter the building because it was nine of us. There was a young lady behind the counter prepping something so I assumed that she had already told us that she would be right with us. A family member of mine stated that no one has greeted us or said anything. Me being me, I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt and stated well maybe she doesn't see us. As soon as I said that, the young lady turned around and looked at all nine of us and ignored us and continued on with what she was doing. My family said, "lets just go". As we were walking out another young lady came from the back of the building and greeted us and asked was everything okay. My family member informed her that we stood there for the longest and the young lady never greeted us or acknowledged us as if we weren't human beings or as if we were invisible. As we were talking to the kind young lady, the other young lady rolled her eyes and went back to whatever she thought was more important. We of course took our hard earned money over to the Nekter Juice Bar where we were greeted with a smile and great customer service. We will never go back to The Baked Bear (Austin) and will never recommend anyone else to go. We will never be insulted like...
