Patagonia — Local services in Austin

I decided to treat myself and the fam for Christmas with some Patagonia apparel. I initially purchased online for convenience, but ultimately decided to go into the store to explore other options and colors. The in-person store experience was well worth the drive, dealing with downtown traffic, and paying for parking. The store associates are very welcoming and helpful. There's multiple associates working, so you can always find someone to help or give advice. The customer service they provide feels very personal and not rushed like other stores; I mean they only offer one brand and know the products extremely well.

The store associates that helped me out were Dom and Jeru. They actually provided real advice and helped me decide between colors/jackets instead of the the generic "it's personal preference" some other store reps feed you.

Warning: you will spend more than you initially expect, but you will get some great products and have a good customer service...

I’m from Calgary, Canada and in Texas for a short trip. Like I always do I’ll check out the local Patagonia store, being from the Western Canada my family takes advantage of the outdoors as much as possible. I have never been so impressed with the level of customer service I received from Jackie. She genuinely offered to de-wool my old Patagonia sweater, and help entertain my 1 year old Lucas. Her customer service that day is by far the most memorable moment I have ever had in a Patagonia store, and has made me an even bigger fan of the brand. ...

I did not actually visit this location but had to call them because they had an item in stock that I was anxiously looking for. When I called, I provided the product info and they were able to confirm they had the item in stock. We processed payment over the phone and confirmed it would arrive by Monday. It was such a seamless experience and I can't thank them enough for their great customer service.
