Since every review was 5 stars, wanted to give my version because it was not what I experienced. Bottom 3 massages I’ve ever had and won’t be back. Disappointed due to how convenient of a location it’s in right in the heart of downtown.

Best comparison I can think of is like a car wash. You can get a hand wash where they’ll focus on areas of the car that are dirtier than another and change things up if needed for the best result. Or you can go to a machine car wash at a gas station where it does the same routine, no matter what the circumstances are.

This was like the machine car wash at a gas station. 20 circles clockwise, 20 circles counter clockwise, etc. Didn’t matter about the tension in my lower back or hips, it just seemed like they were following a routine. Not sure if my masseuse was licensed and experienced or if she just completed their AustinDeep massage boot camp course. No profiles on their site to inform me about their credentials or experience.

I usually go to Mantis Massage but I couldn’t get anyone for at least a week, but AustinDeep had people available at all times.

At Mantis, they would notice a knot and point it out to me, discuss where the tension is coming from or if I’m feeling any referred pain in another area. None of that at AustinDeep.

Lastly, I signed up on their website and got a confirmation email after setting up an account for a massage the following day after work. I got out of work the next day with a voicemail saying my appointment was cancelled due to not having a card on file, although it didn’t ask me for card information when I setup the appointment and account online. Pretty poor...

We've had massages all around the world and tried various techniques, but nothing prepared us for AUSTINDEEP's unique approach. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt incredibly welcomed--the space was tranquil, and the customer service was exceptional. They even noted details from our phone conversation, so checkout was smooth and effortless.

Before your appointment, they ask you to complete a form in advance. Just a heads-up: this location doesn't have a couples room, so my husband and I were in separate rooms. I was with Cara J., and he had Sabrina R.

When our massage therapists walked us to our rooms, I immediately noticed the intriguing decor and red lighting--it really sets the vibe. I appreciated how they explained the technique and what to expect, so you're not caught off guard when they begin using friction-based movements to generate heat.

Cara even massaged my elbow caps and knees--mind-blowing! She also spent a generous amount of time on the base of my neck and feet. I was genuinely impressed by how she used her arms to create consistent friction without burning herself, all while maintaining firm pressure for the entire session.

After the massage, your therapist meets you at the front with a thoughtful touch--a small bag of Epsom salt to take home. Both my husband and I agree this was one of the best and most unforgettable massage experiences...

Not worth it. I've had many fascia release messages before and this was by far the worse. It was completely off and not even on my fascia for part of the message. At one point I thought the therapy was going to throw me off the table with the aggressive movement. It was not pleasant at all. As someone who gets fascia release quarterly THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!! The congress location did not explain that it was an open concept space so while you are in a room the ceiling allows you to hear everything. Upon arrival this would have been nice to know and I did notice after my message that there were ear plugs.... but I've never had to have ear plugs for a message before so having the receptionists or the therapist tell me beforehand would have given 2 stars. It was so distracting hearing employees talk, or the other guests checking in and all about their knee problems. Sorry Jeremy I know you just got off a long flight and only booked a 45 min session but please stop talking was all I could think during the entire time. The music sounds like something you would listen to pool side on a 2 star motel on a beach with cheap drinks. To the message it wasn't good. I needed by my spine to be released and my hips this was the area focused the least. I was really hoping to feel message drunk with a nice fascia release but this is not the place. Save your money and go...

Usually after a good deep massage I would feel better after a few days post soreness, but I didn't really feel much different after all that rubbing and pressure put onto me. All the tightness I have still felt the same only I was sore for a week after. Also the room was freezing! I thought maybe it was just me as my body was reacting to the weird message technique cuz it wasn't freezing at the beginning, but about 45 mins in i started really noticing it, so I was kinda tensing up from the cold too, and after getting dressed when I went to pick up my phone, it felt like as if it was in the fridge and that's when I knew it wasn't me, the AC was definitely on high perhaps for the comfort of the therapist instead. Otherwise the waiting area was nice and relaxing with good music with good base and calming smells. Friendly receptionist. Price guide (as of Oct 2025): 60 mins massage $160
