Geek Squad — Local services in Aventura

Unfortunately I was attended by a very unprofessional agent. When prompted with a specific inquiry his reply was condescending and patronizing. Finally inquired if they had a pc tool kitt within best buy which is where they reside. His retort was we don't sell phillps with a smirk oh his face . The type one wants to smack off an over self entitled individual. That's not what i asked. He sent me to Target to get one. I exited to the PC section where amicably was attended by a best buy agent. Theul had a PC tool kit which had the correct size for my laptop. Agents such as the ione from Geek Squad should not be working in front of customer service as they give a bad name to otherwise what can can possibly be a good location to take your pcs and...

Terrible service from the staff. Online and through the phone the representative explained I needed to take my computer to the store so they could check the issue and try to fix it in the store at the moment. The representative at the store started first by explaining me the membership prices and the cost of just looking at the issue and the need to leave the computer at the store for 2-3 days. This was all a waste of time since I was never told on the phone about the requirement to first pay $100-$200 so they could only diagnose the problem. The girl representative was straight to the point, not even showing interest on explaining my options or providing me reassurance that my problem could be resolved....

DO NOT INSURE YOUR PHONE WITH THEM!! I went to the Aventura store two months ago to ask if my phone was still covered with their insurance. They had no clue. They kept me there for 45 minutes and they answered me in two different counters I was covered. It turns out I called Geek Squad today after two months because they way of talking to me didn't give me any confidence these people were right. Today, I was told my $1,000 dollar phone wasn't covered and since I had passed the 3 month period after the last payment that I had no chance to renew the insurance.
