After a long days work, i decided to treat myself to Chick-fil-A although it was raining...hard. I thought no one would be there because the weather was so bad. On arrival, I found that the place was packed!! Honestly, I felt pretty guilty having those young ones run a curbside order for me...but I was truly exhausted. I made my order and parked my car curbside. One of the Aventura staff members, Matt, came to my door to verify that my order went through (he mentioned that some orders had not, so he just wanted to check). It was pouring down raining, and here this young man comes to my door smiling, as if its a perfectly sun-shiny day! He said, “Ill wait here with my umbrella untill you roll up your window, so you dont get wet”— how kind!!
I quickly received my order (as always). Before opening it, i thought to myself, “It’s understandable if they dont get the order right, today (I ask for all sorts of condiments, lol), because the weather is so bad. I decided not to ask anyone to go back if anything was missing— it was a lot to just be out there like they were.
I looked in the bag, and everything I asked for was there- all the sauces, even the salt! Relief!!
As I turned the corner to leave, I saw Matt standing there with his umbrella. He gave a bright smile and waved as I drove away. For a moment, I felt- not like i was leaving a fast food restaurant, but almost like i was leaving Disney. His greeting was hardly over the top, but it certainly set you guys apart from any restaurant that I’ve visited in the past. I was so impressed that I circled the store and went back to commend him on his exceptional service. So impressed, in fact, that I immediately came home to write this review (...i cant believe I’m writing this long review! 😂)

I had never had Chick-Fil-A before and heard rave things about it, so was in the area, very very hungry, and decided to give them a try.
I ordered a #1 (the Chicken Sandwich, large waffle fries, and an unsweetened ice tea).
I took a sip of my iced tea and it was disgustingly sweet. I brought it back and they replaced it.
I took a sip of my replacement iced tea and it was also disgustingly sweet. I brought it back and it turns out the unsweetened iced tea dispenser had sweet tea! I got a diet coke instead (not my first choice, but I was very very thirsty).
The waffle fries were lukewarm, soggy, and tasteless.

I really don't know why anyone raves about this food. Maybe I have high standards because they did a good business while I was there. I ate the food because I was ravenous (it wasn't bad; just tasteless and soggy and cold) but I would never go there again.
I went to the bathroom afterward and they were out of paper towels, so I went to get some napkins and told them the paper towel dispenser was empty. It was actually opened up and extremely empty, and an employee using the bathroom with me must have noticed but didn't seem to do anything when he saw my wet hands.

Read moreOn 8/19/22 I placed my order via the app, and used cash and my rewards points to receive 8-piece nuggets which I never received via curbside pickup. I immediately called the restaurant and left a voicemail for the manager to call me back. I received a call back from "Ricardo" the manager who explained that he will give me a store credit with 12-piece nuggets and fries.. I was told to give my name with the last 4 #'s of my phone #. Well well well, today 10/11/22 on my lunch break at 12:30 pm I went into the restaurant and met with "Ricardo" who told me that my credit was already used! I explained this was my first time coming into the restaurant to claim my credit. This man was rude and not the experience I would have ever imagined receiving from a Chick Fil A, he told me "I did" when I have NOT!!! Clearly, I have no reason to lie over an order of nuggets!! I would never ever come here ever again, the staff never says "My Pleasure" and twice I ordered curbside pickup to have missing items from my reward points, first time it was a free brownie missing from the bag, 2nd the time was the 8 piece nuggets, and now THE MANAGER RICARDO tells me I have already received my credit!
