Nike Aventura — Local services in Aventura

Glad to be the second review ever for this Nike location of Aventura Mall. First off they had their grand opening with a DJ (bad bunny was on)

The location itself, just wow. Fantastic layout, beautiful landscape and wide space. It is the most beautiful Nike store I have visited (2 floors)

I would like to thank McKenzie and Antonio for the initial customer service. Beyond amazing service and valid explanation on Nike’s return policy (they were uninformed of the 2 year return policy for Deadstock shoes)

The original reason for my visit was to return my Nike Fear of God 1s (Oatmeal, size 14) which I believed were capable of a full return past the 60 days if they were dead stock. I was informed of Nike’s 60 days policy only and I responded passionately in that it was not true regarding Deadstock shoes (being a former Nike athlete for Dolphin Mall).

I contacted Nike HeadQuarters immediately outside their location and was informed by Jared (Nike Athlete of Nike Headquarters) that yes, I was correct that I did have over 60 days to return my deadstock Fear of God Oatmeals Size 14.

But, there is a clause, the time limit is 2 years only past manufacturing date. The purchase was Nov 2019 (3 years past). Thus, I was unable to receive full refund of my Fear of Gods 1 Oatmeal Size 14, only a store credit of 100 dollars (which Antonio did state upon our initial statement)

I decided to sell my Fear of God 1s and South Beach 8s (2021) via “StockX” for 50 percent value. It is sad, but needed at the time.

After, I went back to go apologize towards Antonio and their assistant manager (name unknown) for my actions and thanked them for their help and support.

Beyond grateful for the Nike of Aventura and their employees. Thank you and wish this store the best in the upcoming days.

PS. TLDR

NIKE DOES NOT ALLOW RETURNS ON DEADSTOCK SHOES PAST 2 YEARS. 2 YEARS IS THEIR DEADLINE ON ANY DEADSTOCK SHOES

So glad that a Nike store opened in Aventura. I was assisted by Darren who was able to give details about the different Nike shoes that I was interested in to decide for my purchase. Darren was very pleasant and respectful even with the crazy crowds and demands that were happening with the store just opening. It is always great to come across amazing customer service and a good laugh, even when situations can be stressful. Go see Darren so that he can help you make the right decision and gain a great experience during the busiest and stressful...

Horrible service, ridiculous security. They let you into the store by the main door and then lock it without advising you. You go upstairs to shop then back down to exit and then they force you to go back upstairs to exit. People have better things to do than keep going up and down in your store. If you lock the downstairs door have the decency to have someone at the top of the stairs to advise folks. Security would not even open the door and was not helpful at all. A completely ridiculous experience, go elsewhere, they don’t care...
