From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm ambiance and the lively music band celebrating the shop's 3rd year anniversary. The complementary wine added a touch of elegance to the already delightful atmosphere. It felt like I had discovered a hidden treasure.

The collection of items in the shop was impressive, and I was particularly looking for a t-shirt that would serve as a memento for my son, who wanted something from Seattle. The quality, design, and price of the t-shirt exceeded my expectations. I also found a beautiful pair of earrings for myself, which showcased the shop's commitment to offering a diverse range of high-quality products.

Unfortunately, my son left the purchased t-shirt at a restaurant while we were having dinner. It was only after we returned home that we realized what we had lost. In a state of distress, I reached out to the shop's owner, who showed unwavering kindness and understanding. The owner went out of their way to personally retrieve the shirt from the restaurant and ship it to us promptly. Their exceptional customer service truly went above and beyond my expectations.

I have visited this jewel box shop over a dozen times and I am always enchanted by a new "find". The merchandise reflects the fact that staff are very connected to the local creative community and stock everything from handmade cards and writing paper to jewelry, furniture, pottery, prints and glass art. Most recently, I fell in love with a pendant that an artist had crafted from silver-- a flat, polished surface with divots lined in bronze and gold. Some held a small pearl and it looked for all the world like a strip of sandy beach strewn with shells and pebbles. I found the price to be really very accessible considering that it was a one-of-a-kind piece of art. We had a great visit to Bainbridge Island, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and PNW. Our visit to Millstream was lovely, as we found the selections perfect for our souvenir shopping to help with the memories of our trip from CT. Even better was the friendly atmosphere created by the owner, whose warm personality was much appreciated. As I had forgotten a bag of items there, the staff kept faith that I would return, but not to happen from CT.
