Lety was my hairstylist when I had my first appt there was a mix up of schedules to which she was able to get me in & I was very much appreciative of that. The appointment did take about 3-4 hours to do an all cover red w/ highlights. It came out very nicely but she had to push her other appointments back, so she didn’t have the time to give me a trim/hair cut. The cost was about $400 (I think it was about $50 deposit & the rest after service). I was disappointed in this, having to go get a trim at great clips on after instead. A couple of months go by, I text her to see if we can go back to my natural hair color blonde since basically the red is washed out. She stated it’ll be a color correction & she offered other services with it as well, but I will have to wait 2 weeks to see her. She made the appointment time and day, I obliged and said “it sounds good”. Nothing else was communicated, no reply and no response back. After waiting 2 weeks for the appt, I text her the day of to confirm the appointment. I thought this was weird, as a professional to not want confirmation with your clients at least the night before, especially when you are receiving hundreds of dollars from them in sales. She responded that she was fully booked for today and I should have given her a deposit. I was a new client, she should have texted further instructions on how to proceed to further book the appt if she is holding up to those standards of policy. It is not my responsibility as a client to make sure your policy is being enforced. As a new client I had no idea that these were the protocols in the first place. It only takes a simple text ahead of time to state “these are our procedures, please head to our website in order to book for the appointment.” As a professional, why would you not want to help assist in a sale of service to your clients especially again when banking hundreds of dollars for profit and when they are new. Even just as a friendly reminder, if that is the case. Other professionals that I associate with do it all the time, even with their returning clients. That is fine if you want to do business like this, but as a professional myself, I do not have the time in order for me to figure out what you need as a client and I shouldn’t have to. I waited 2 weeks to get my hair done by a stylist who could not on the day perform promised services because of lack of organization, mismanagement, and the lack of care for your clients. As stated before I do not have time to deal with unprofessionalism at all levels of service. With that said, Breaking Bad Hair has...
