Mega City 2 Comics is a wonderful breath of fresh air for the world of collectors in Bakersfield. For years walking into a store like this in Bakersfield was a foreign thought. There were small places that weren't very friendly, didn't really have that appeal a comic book shop should. This has changed it for our city! I have not collected for many years but have been going through some things of mine and decided to have a couple comics looked at. Jay (I believe is his name) forgive me if I'm wrong. Jay was an extremely personable man who seems fairly honest in my opinion and took his time to look at what I had, offered to sell them for me on comision if I'd like. He seems to have the extensive knowledge you want in a person in the comic industry along with honesty. SO MUCH SELECTION OF ALL POP CULTURE ITEMS, especially comic book selections! Mega City 2 has so much to offer for all kinds of collectors. Staff is ultra friendly and knowledgeable, especially the owner Jago. Everyone is always welcomed as you enter the shop. Even the clientele that frequent there is friendly; I've made friends of the regulars there.

They also buy, trade, and offer consignment for books. It is a shining spot for the collection industry in Bakersfield. Trading card enthusiasts will be happy to see that their favorite cards are in stock. Plus there's an area for live gaming. I highly recommend the place, so come check it out!
