This was my first haunted-house experience, as well as my husband's (it was his idea), and it was great. The actors were all very good, and the staff were helpful in getting us checked in and letting us know where to go. We did the VIP package and got there early, so we got right in to see the attraction, plus some really nice swag. Interestingly, I think my favorite staff member was the person who gave us the safety run-down before entering; she slipped into and out of character very easily and really looked the part. There were some pretty good scares throughout, definitely caught me more than once even though my husband was taking the lead.

The venue is in a block that is a rather run-down old outdoor mall, which is sad to see in the city, but in this particular case works very well for the atmosphere of a haunted house. The parking was super-easy, though, as there is a lot right next door with plenty of helpful signage to direct us to the right places to go, and a security guard posted at the lot so it felt very safe to park.

The extra outdoor entertainers were a bonus. I missed the magic show, but the fire dancers were quite skilled and did some really cool tricks. Plus, there are costumed staff who work the crowd outside with some really interesting designs. There was also a food truck, but we didn't realize it would be there and had already eaten, so we didn't get a chance to try it out. The bar was pretty much beer and wine, and though I'm not drinking at the moment, my husband reported the wine was good (VIP also included a drink ticket). There's not an ATM nearby as far as I can tell, so make sure to bring a few bucks cash to tip the staff, who are all very good, courteous, professional, and probably cold after hanging outside all night.

I definitely plan to come back next year; apparently the whole house gets a redesign every year, so I'm excited to see what next year...

Loved this haunt! I like going to a different one every year! This one was special because the actors could touch you. I know its unheard of in haunts. But that made it unique! The animatronics actually touched you too if you weren't careful. Don't worry, some walls and textures were soft so nothing actually harmed you. I, also, love the sideshow act with their witty jokes and cool acts. Loved the actors walking through the line to keep us occupied. Wish people didn't use flash when they came around, so as to not ruin the scares in line. People could take pictures outside where there is more lighting. I recommend that they have the rules outside so we could read them properly, it was too dim inside. Glad the hostess told us the rules about actors touching us. I really liked where there were a few areas where we could choose what door we went through, like we had a choice in our own fate. Also liked the area that was straight out of a horror film! Loved how the actors played off each other as a team! Made us scared multiple times by multiple people! Went through the haunt, it felt a little short and I ended up wanting more.. but that is a good thing because it means I know they could do bigger and better once they get the funds to expand into the next floors. The sideshow ended up rounding it out making it longer if you stayed through all their acts. I can't wait til they expand or use the rest of the buildings and the alley, to make it bigger and badder! The alley was super creepy with is abandoned buildings and broken walkways. Be careful walking down there. They had small pumpkin pies that were delicious by the food area. They accept cash or credit but credit is charged a fee. No atms nearby. Wish they had that info on the site. Overall, I loved this haunt and can't wait til...

Very good experience. Nice setup both outside and in. Lots of unique sets and costumes you won't see at other haunts, although a few things may be familiar if you go to a lot of these (strobe lights, Fog, lasers, jail cells, etc..). The cast inside are in character and don't merely rely on yelling rarr over and over again. They're intelligent enough to interact with you and keep it interesting. The sets aren't the most elaborate with the exception of the final scene, which is tremendously well done. Bravo for that! Outside you have random food trucks which differ depending on which night you visit. There is security watching over the parking lot and helping guide you toward the haunt, and the entire atmosphere is really just something to be seen. The actors outside make sure that everyone gets some attention, while entertainment also goes on. Everything is very simple and easy to understand and does so without taking away from the overall atmosphere of the place. I hope to return someday because this was a lot of fun and I look forward to what it could become over the years. Only constructive criticism that I have for the place would be to have every 4th actor or so also be responsible for keeping groups separated so that guests get through your haunt as it was intended. We were unfortunate enough to have a group of loud teenagers behind us trying to be the center of attention themselves when we really paid to see/hear the haunt and its...

My girlfriend n I came to the Nevermore Haunt for Halloween night n we loved it! The atmosphere was perfect n the location inside the abandoned Old Town Mall was amazing! It definitely helped give it a creepy decayed paranormal vibe. The actors were pretty decent overall but there were a couple who were absolutely fantastic! My favorite part n actors were the Angler Sisters n the accompanying guy on piano who entertained n creeped us out while we waited in line. The whole place has a old timey 1920/30s vibe like Lovecraft n Poe. Which speaking of Lovecraft I think there was more then a couple parts of the attraction inspired by Lovecraft. Like the Angler Sisters were looking like they had joined their blood with the deep ones from Innsmouth, there was a Rats in the Walls reference, n a giant Cthulhu creater that attacks u! Overall it could have been a little longer n better but it's only two years old n it's better than a couple places I've been too that have been around longer. Not to many sections inside stood out to me but it was the overall consistency, passion, n asthetics that make it special. I've been to almost every major haunted house n hayride attraction on the east coast, I love them n have worked at a couple before, but this is one of my favorites n I think it has a lot of potential. In fact, if I still live in Baltimore next year I want to apply to work here n be a part of it. Thank you to everyone working here you did great! ;)

Absolutely fantastic experience last year in 2023 and can't wait to go back in 2024. Couldn't recommend enough. A lively pre-house experience with drinks, food trucks, entertainers, including magicians and some serious scary actors, the fun begins before you even get inside. Once inside, we were immersed in an experience that took us back long ago to the days of Eager Allen Poe in Baltimore. The ending of the haunt had the coolest thing my brother and I had EVER seen in a haunt (I will not spoil it). It's nearly a year later and we still can't figure out how they did what they did. Count us in as automatic attendees every year.

This was better than expected!!! Very well done in a very run down area. There were security guards and a lot just for parking. The actors were great and the light touching honestly made the experience immersive. We decided to go last minute & went around 8-9pm. Only waited about 20-25 minutes. I thought the maze thru the building was actually pretty long but some may say other wise. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience!!! Not crazy overpriced either for what they offer. Whoever put this on did a great job with presentation and utilizing an abandoned building in Baltimore!
