Lane Bryant — Local services in Barrington Township

I went in to pick up an online order and was greeted right away by Jodi. She was very friendly and helpful. She told me since I was picking up in the store I was eligible for a discount on 1 item in the store that day. I let her know that I wanted to try on the capris before I took them home. It's been forever since I have purchased anything from Lane Bryant and I have lost some weight so I was not sure of my size. As we were walking to the dressing room I meet Madi. She was there with my order and let me know she will be around if I need anything. Well, I tried on the capris and loved them, but they looked too big. I ordered a 26. Not realizing I had lost so much weight. I asked the Madi and Jodi their opinion on how they looked and both agreed they were too big. Tried on 2 other sizes and ended up in an 18/20 (WOOHOO!) I was so excited. Madi helped me with returning the original order and was able to get the right size. Just want to say THANK YOU Jodi and Madi for the positive, friendly atmosphere you provided. My mother has been here several times and she has had customer service be rude to her for no reason. My sister as well. It is as if they have something against them each time they visit the store. Even if you don't like your customers you still need to be polite, you know. I also have worked in customer service and know how to treat my customers with respect. After today my mother had yet another incident where she was asking for an availibilty of shirt in a certain color and the lady(s) she asked for help was rude, including during check out. Great way to keep your customers coming back. I guess you guys at this location should be happy because she will not be going back. If I could give zero...

I don't know what the lady's problem at this location is. I just called and was put on hold by Jessica for 10 min. When she answered the phone I asked for the General manager if she was not there don't know why she would put me on hold and if she is there she refused to talk to me. My mother was at the store this week and once agin lady's were short and rude. Evertytime she goes in with coupons from Lane Bryant that she gets in the mail they never let her use them on anything she wants. I will be calling customer service and asking for the regionals manager...
