I got a gift certificate as a mothers day gift, $55 for a 30min deep tissue. Ok, so I got online and scheduled my massage. Call 1)The next day or so after I got aVM, something about the scheduling of it, please call. I was busy and did not get back to them. Csll2)Then again, the next day or so, I got another VM saying there was a scheduling conflict with my massage if I could please give them a call back. Busy, and didnt get back to them yet. Call 3)So then i get another call, which I answered this time spoke to a lady who told me there was a scheduling conflict and could I reschedule to a different hour. I told her I didn’t think I could, but if I looked at my schedule and it was possible I would give her a call back. She said no problem will keep it as is for now if you can do anything just let us know, if not, no worries. So I look at my schedule and I couldn’t move it around so I left it alone. Call 4)Then the following day I got another call asking me to move my appointment, at this point I’m frustrated and I cancel the appointment. A week or so later I go to schedule my appointment and they told me the only available days are on Tuesday. OK, thats limited? ..However, I schedule for a 30 minute deep tissue massage scheduled with Chelsea. I show up promptly before my appointment time, the apt is running late by 10 min, no biggie. Lady at desk is personable. I get in and tell Chelsea where to focus, she begins. A bit into the massage, I tell her if she can go harder, please do. She tells me thats as hard as she can go, so i say ok. It was one of the lightest massages ive ever had, not even talking deep tissue? I walked away from the deep tissue massage with no relief at all. It wasn’t a deep tissue at all, for me? She was also very personable, though. I left feeling like i had wasted my time and money. As well, i later see they offer a discount on tue bookings.. 20% that no one mentioned, even when I checked out and said I hadn’t liked the massage. Front desk did offer to talk to the masseuse and i let her know I already had. Idk, my all around experience was so...
Read moreI have gone to Cherry Blossoms Spa numerous times over the years. I started because I needed massage therapy for an old injury. I tried every massage place in Bastrop and avoided Cherry Blossoms because it seemed more geared toward relaxation instead of the type of therapy I needed. However, when my go to massage therapist could not take me in, I started going to Cherry Blossoms. The therapists have all been great. I've experienced new and seasoned therapists and the way they treat you makes it clear that Cherry Blossoms has a high standard they adhere to. I have more recently gone in for waxing services and have had pleasant experiences there as well. I have my year already booked with them to make sure I can always get in and I plan to go with my daughter to get facials very soon. Such a nice little spot right in the heart of Bastrop. Highly recommend for your special day or any other for that matter. Treating yourself is what...
Read moreAbsolutely hands down the best massage in Texas!! Better than Hyatt hill country resort, JW Marriott, Four seasons hotel and all the run of the mill massage shops inbetween. Lived in Bastrop for 5 years and it’s sad that I’ve only been to sub par amateur massage therapists here in Bastrop. Josephine is the most professional massage therapist I have ever met. She listens to the client and actually works on those areas that need extra attention. She’s better than a chiropractor and has helped my lower back pain and sciatica. My sciatica has disappeared since seeing her. She’s truly the best that Bastrop has to offer. I feel very blessed to have found her and be able to see her for maintenance to keep the sciatica away and lower back pain in check. I’ve seen her now 3 times and my mobility has greatly improved. Cherry blossoms is truly an amazing...
