Absolutely disgusting treatment today. These people (Supposedly) hired loss prevention that stalked me through the whole damn store while I was shopping. I complained about this person to his face and told him to stop following me only to get a rude Curt response. I call the manager over and tell her how upset I was because at first I didn't recognize what was going on. Somebody in 76° weather wearing sweatpants and a hoodie walking back and forth through the store constantly looking at me and he has his hands in the front pouch of his hoodie. I'm sorry in this day and age with all the random shootings that's more than a little suspicious. I have specific training in these things and found it very concerning and told the manager they need to stop what he's doing because I've been assaulted before and at first I felt like I was being stalked, and then I started worrying he was potentially going to cause harm to the store or the employees, maybe Rob the store because he had his hands in his pocket like he was hiding something. Once I talked to one of the ladies I knew that worked there as she was walking outside and confirmed he was loss prevention I then spoke to the supervisor about his behavior. I have spent a lot of money in that store since they've been open and have a big credit card for them as well. I just went in to try to use some of my rewards points and left totally stressed out and full of anxiety from the situation and the way I was treated. Unbelievable and it seems like they may have called the police on me which I'm going to verify because I was told that my license plate was ran and I didn't have any officers around me when it was heard (it was awhile after I left and driving). I will never step foot in that store again and I'm calling corporate on them in the morning because that behavior is unacceptable in our community. Maybe they need to close down and...
Read moreI have always come to Homegoods in Bastrop and they have always treated me good until today. I bought something that was damaged and I told it to some gentlemen who worked there, and they very kindly told me yes of course. Take it to the front and someone would be able to help you. I think their names were Mark and Anthony. They took the time to look for another one just like it but it was the only one. But when I went to the checkout, Crystin helped me, I told her that they had helped me, she answered me very rudely and what else was I trying to explain to her that I had asked for another similar item but it was the only one they had and it was damaged and she was very rude. I have bought 3 of these items at normal price and I haven't had any problem paying for them normal price. I was not trying to get a discount it was damaged and you could...
Read moreI had a horrible experience shopping here. I wasn’t in the store for more than a minute before being approached by an employee asking if I needed help. I said no thank you and continued to shop a free standing cart that was left out. When I realized that she had been hovering right behind me for several minutes I stood up and glanced over my shoulder apologizing. I asked if I was in her way to which she replied, with a huge scowl on her face, yes you are. I wad surprised by how blatantly rude she was. I asked her name, she replied Kathy, proudly pointing to her name tag. I asked for the managers name, she responded and I thanked her for the information. She very sarcastically said “You’re welcome.” Customer service is not for everyone. I think Kathy needs to find a new...
