Old Navy — Local services in Bastrop

Sam is my favorite manager! Last Thursday I was getting some groceries at the local Old Navy. I was in the frozen goods section choosing from their selection of fine vegan beef products when out of nowhere a pack of feral service dogs surrounded me. They had come from both directions, trapping me in the aisle with a pincer maneuver. I had to take refuge in the freezer itself to escape the vest wearing hellhounds. I tried appeasing the savage brutes with a box of vegan patties, but the dogs didn’t find my offering to be incredible enough, apparently. I thought all hope was lost when lo and behold, Sam appeared. After a quick assessment of the situation Sam grabbed a massive frozen turkey and bowled it down the aisle with the force of a thunder bolt. When the turkey struck the pack the dogs went flying in all directions, inexplicably making the same sound as a perfect strike at a bowling lane. After Sam helped me from my icy refuge I asked her “don’t you work in the pharmacy now?” With a wink Sam flicked a Vicodin into my mouth with her thumb. “I don’t really work here, they just pay me to hang around and occasionally test out the sporting goods. “Here, have a free sample” she said as she tossed me a 12 gauge. My mom wanted to get some clothes. Went to check out and what a disaster. The sales clerk rang everything up and told us the total. She see's my mom is writing out a check and said nothing about not accepting checks. She informed us that if we donated $5 old navy matches the $5 and we get reimbursed the $5. If that's the case then why did the total go up? Total was $134.00 then she said $145.00. I was shocked and didn't know what to do. I told the sales clerk i was so confused. She tried to explain and then states the total price was $150.55. Ridiculous and confusing. So you have lost our business and i won't be shy about sharing my concerns...

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY SHIRTS HERE, especially as school is starting! We bought two shirts, and with the first wash in cold water, they both shrunk up like crop tops!! I took them back immediately with the receipt, and store supervisor said Old Navy would not return them, or even give me a store credit— even with the receipt—because “they were washed.” So, apparently, you can buy your children shirts here, but you can never ever ever wash them. 🤦‍♀️The most ridiculous encounter I have ever had with a retail store.🤦‍♀️ The quality of Old Navy merchandise has tanked, and their customer service in Bastrop location quickly did, too.
